  my belief is that the jw organization is moving towards video teaching.

  at the last convention a mini jesus movie was created.

  today watching the jw video on 'older ones' is the famous widow in the temple scene with the same actor for jesus.. are they slowly and carefully making a jesus movie?.

  It is amazing to me how they have done a complete 180 and embraced all technology. When I was a kid, the most pious witnesses did not even have a tv and none of the the visiting overseers did. And when the internet became available, it was "another tool of Satan" we were supposed to avoid. Now they embrace it all whole-heartedly.

  They have their own internet TV broadcast channel, they have a Roku channel, they are making music videos, and now Jesus videos. It all seems so weird to me. Ironically, they are beginning to look like all the other religions they have cursed for so long. Now they are televangelists, make cartoons for kids, etc. I can't say enough how weird it all is to me.

  The only thing I haven't seen them embrace wholeheartedly is social media. I think this is a tougher one for them because social media involves two way communication, which they hate. When they have an official Facebook page and Twitter feed, I will be looking out the window for flying pigs.

  l have a problem with this.lf adam and eve didnt sin the earth would eventually have been full to the brim with perfect human beings.then what every man gets the chop or no more sex?then on the other hand we have the jw's sayingresurrected ones will not be allowed to marry in the earthly new system.. married survivors of armageddon will remain married.

  single survivors of armageddon may or may not be allowed to marry.so it seems that people reborn into new system wont be able to procreate.

  and married survivors will stay married so l assume that means they can still hanky panky and have babys thats a bit unfair..the earth can only accommodate a maximum number of humans then what for the married couples.

  Not really. Science has come a long way. While there are still things yet to be discovered, I think things are pretty clear. It's the bible and religion that murk things up.

  It doesn't make sense because none of it is true.

  ALL living things were meant to procreate, live a certain life span, deteriorate and die. It's the whole Lion King circle of life thing.

  I never understood why when Adam and Eve supposedly sinned by eating an apple and Jehoho took away their perfect and never ending life for it (talk about over-reacting, Dad!), that he in turn decided to impose the same sentence on every living creature and thing that ever existed. It's kind of ridiculous when you think about it.

  There is not one single thing in the entire Universe that lasts forever, and there never has been. Not a star, not a planet, not a tree, not a creature, or human.

  And personally, there is nothing scarier to me than an entire planet full to the brim with Jehovah's Witnesses who can't have sex. Let's see them dance and sing the Happy song, then.

  making memorial bread parties

  i saw from various social media the the witnesses are holding parties to  make memorial bread.

  Back in my day, the little kids were allowed to eat the "unleavened bread" after the memorial. It tasted nasty, but we didn't care. We thought it was cool to pretend we were anointed. Then, the "mothership" had to be a buzzkill and forbid it.

  I have never heard of having an "unleavened bread" party. Sounds like a blast.

  Need confirmation: WT bought an entire mountain in China to mine the granite needed for new WT HQ

  someone asked for a second source on this, so i'm putting this out there to those who may have visited the new wt hq lately and know it to be true.

  i had read from others on the ex-jw subreddit that had taken a tour recently at wt hq, that they had been shown photos of a mountain in china, and told that this is where all of the granite is being mined from and shipped over to new york to use at the site of the new wt hq.

  apparently, it was cheaper for them to do this and have the local brothers in china mine it, then having to by tons upon tons of granite here in the usa, even wholesale.

  I believe it is very possible for the Watchtower to buy their own quarry and harvest the granite themselves. They seem to have endless money, and are very predatory .... err resourceful using volunteer labor. This is a bit more complicated than making their own glue, which they have done for years, but it still falls within the realm of possible.

  I do question how this was able to happen in China. I can't imagine them being able to do this under the Watchtower name. I imagine they would need to do business in China with a more auspicious name that has no connection to the Watchtower.

  But, I imagine the "volunteer labor" is easy to come by in China. People are starving over there, and sending your young uneducated son that you can't afford to feed off to the Watchtower where they will take good care of him ... provide shelter and plenty to eat in exchange for work ... would seem like a great deal to them. Over there I don't think they would even see it as slave labor. They would just see it as a job.

  I am anxious to hear confirmation of this and I hope someone can find out what name they are doing business under.

  l know l would.anyone that says no is kidding themselves.just imagine going up to the hole of a cobra and patting it on the head like a pet.or running like a deer through the woods.who knows we might grows wings and be able to fly as well.food for thought.

  No. Because if it's real, it must mean that only Jehovah's Witnesses will be here and I could never live on Earth with only those people.

  Besides, it defies nature. Name one thing in the Universe that lives forever. Everything dies. It's how we were made (or created).
