I would love to be there too. We never have anything like that near us (or I have never heard of them) .......or maybe I just dont get invited....tell me honestly is it the hair???

The benefit of JWD
by Lady Lee ini know i have made comments about the benefits of jwd but i have some thoughts about this.. for the person who is having doubts and is looking for some confirmation or information jwd provides a wealth of both.
and if it isn't posted here on the board someone usually has a link to answer questions.
for those who have been hurt by the shunning policy or been abused in some way jwd offers wonderful people who understand because they have "been there" too.. for those who are recently out of the wts and are trying to build a new life there are many to encourage and support them.. even those of us who have been here and out of the wts for a long time there is encouragement and friendship.. for those who love a good debate, there is usually a willing jw to try to take them on.. there are some great sites on the internet that provide information.

Do you have an Evil Streak?
by misspeaches insometimes people do things too me that just rub me up the wrong way... and out comes evil miss peaches....!
i can't help it... this weird evil side of my personality displays itself.
for example if i'm in traffic and someone is tailgating me i deliberately slow down to a couple of kms per hour below the speed limit.

Melbourne Cup - I didn't win...
by misspeaches inwell while all our american friends are off celebrating halloween in various shapes and forms down under everyone is gathering to watch the biggest horse racing event of the year... .

Lost and found
by Crumpet ini just lost my favourite ring - the little brass signet band my grandfather gave me when i was 9 and i have worn every minute sincei was 9.
i went franctic and then retraced my steps and found it on the downstairs bathroom floor - tucked under the rug and was finally calm.
have you ever lost anything and had it found or returned unusually or unexpectedly?.

I lost my dog and I searched and my friends searched nearly all night and I was really really upset and crying because he is my baby boy and then the next morning I was walking down the backyard and I was still blubbering and I heard whimpering in the mower shed and I opened the door- I still don't know how he got in there and I don't know who was the happiest to see who but I am sure glad I found him.
