At the end of the show, when the man kept asking the guy "Are you scared, are you scared, are you scared?" I kinda thought he was going to say you must be a Jehovah's Witness!

"No Apologies is no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses"
by No Apologies insometimes i just don't know when to keep my big mouth shut.
today i think finally said enough to get da'd.. for those of you just tuning in, a recap: about 2-3 years i came to realize everything i had been taught as a jw was a load of steaming turds.
since then i have managed to fade away more or less, without incident.

I didn't tell anyone that I was tired, except my husband who was an approved associate. He had all ready decided that he didn't want to be a witness. I had been in for about 2 years. I just wrote the letter and sent if off in the mail. I was glad not to have to talk to the witnesses and I was tired of the unexpected visits. I just hate that I never let go of the bOrg in my heart, and that I raised my children to believe in the bOrg because they are now baptized witnesses, who now think by shunning me that I'll become a witness again. I don't want to be a witness again!

Bilateral means both sides. So both hips were fractured. Unilateral means one side.

Are You Still Affected By Guilt?
by minimus indo you still feel any guilt for celebrating a birthday or holiday or associating with "worldly" people or doing anything that the watchtower has inculcated as being wrong???

I have discomfort with the idea of having a party, because I really don't know how to do it! This will be the first year that I've celebrated Christmas after 20 years. I can't believe it's been that long. I keep wondering how do you put up lights. I don't want to have any ghetto looking lights! I guess it will be fun to try to put up a tree. It might look like the Grinch's tree, but it will be a tree. Oh it'll be ghettofabulous!

Hey! I'm a smoker. I started at the good old age of 43. Go figure! I think that I was trying to exert my own will or something.
I wonder if this guy had some pathological bone disease....

Why is what JW's believe in bad? what do they believe in?

It's what they don't believe in! Ask them what you can't do, and why. Ask them why you have to shun your parents if they were once baptized, ask them where it said not to celebrate Christmas, ask them.... everything!? Don't go in blind. They taught you their beliefs. You, probably, didn't know much about the bible in the first place. Now, you ready to say they are right? Study with more than one religion before you take that dive!

Reveal something "weird" or "unusual" about yourself
by JH inwhatever i drink from the fridge, i put it into the microwave for 10 seconds so that it won't be too cold to drink.. .
whenever i drink ice cold liquids, it irritates my tongue/mouth and often triggers a sore throat.
now you have additional proof that i'm weird .

I'm just plain different. I stay to myself. Don't like company. I talk too fast and mix my sentences up. My sentences come out like "beggs and acon" or "this stink is sinking". I love loud music! All kinds! Mandrill, War, New Birth, Carly Simon, Fiddy Cents, Paul Hardcastle, ODB, Dolly Parton, Sean Paul, Bob Marley, Elvis Presley, so on and so forth.
I have dental insurance, but won't go to the dentist! I wish he'd pull them all out and give me dentures!
There's more, but I've went past my limit!
One last thing, I work third shift, so that makes me legit for the "freaks come out at night". I'm a night nurse!
