I liked the Revelation book for the same reasons that I like that book int the bible. Colorful and dramatic.
I absolutely hated, despised, cursed, and dreaded the Watchtower magazine. Boring, tedious drudgery. Complete and total drivel - every word of it put me to sleep.
hello i've been sent from botchtower headquaters to see how the flock of apostate are digressing spiritualy.. as we all know it is important to be inactive in the service and meetings and i see that many of you are doing well.. it can be hard though , sometimes when we come home from work tiered it is all too easy to get washed and changed and to rush of to a meeting without stoping to eat.. but without trust in the holyspirit you can become stong and my be able to get into the habit of watching tv or maybe even going to the pub.. even if you can do a little tv watching a day instead of reading the watchtower and awake it will help.. in order to combat the desires of the spirit we must replace them with more apostate things.i notice that some of you have not been active on the internet recently.. this is not good for your progress.. on my next visit i would like to see more non attendance at meetings less studying and more engagment in materialistic pursuits.. oh and some of you have been reporting your hours, please consider the relevent material as whether this is unscriptual or not.. with warm love and apostate greetings ,.

My apostacy is coming along nicely. I have not been to a meeting in 11 years, I spend most of my free time on the internet or watching TV. I have a lot of hobbies that take more time from studying. I go out of my way to not talk to people about the bad news of God's kingdom. I even partake of too much alcahol on occasion and wake up foggy and unclear.
I even attend parties, I mean gatherings, that have no basis in scriptural conduct. I plan to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with gusto. And I don't own a tie or any clothes more than a year out of style. I encourage my wife to dress immodestly and to act unchaste in public.
All I want to know is... What more can't I do to halt the preaching work?
one of my favourite books is still revelation, so much dramatic scenery and awesome events, cascading symbols of events.. what was your favourite book of the bible and why?.

Revelation is so colorful and dramatic. I have a vivid imagination, and always enjoyed the pictures created by reading Revelation.
I also liked Genesis and Job, tragic and heartrending at points, but good stories nonetheless.

there is something that has always puzzled both of us.
A couple in my congregation were marked because their son was caught smoking marajuana. The son was over 21, was not baptized or involved with the dubs in any way, but he lived at home with his parents. There was a talk in front of the entire congregation where this info was laid out for everyone and the elder asked if the parents were going to throw him out. When they refused it was made perfectly clear that the parents, both baptized publishers, were bad associates for not cutting off contact with their son. From that point on they were no longer invited to any function, most people stopped speaking to them even at meetings, and those that did still speak with them were frequently brought into the library for private meetings with the elders. It got to the point that no one spoke to them and they eventually stopped comming to the hall.
i was just wondering about some points in the bible... no, i'm not saying there's a contradiction, i'm trying to find a reasonable answer here.... anyone remember when those two kids started to insult... elijah i believe?
