In the mid 1990's, quite a few of the younger brothers had their heads shaved, which didn't sit well with the boe. We had a local needs talk about dress and grooming at the service meeting over that one, and bros who didn't comply with the "must have hair at meetings " rule were counselled about it

So what random rules did YOUR elders impose?
by brunnhilde inevery cong has them, the petty dictators who make up arbitrary rules and insist that the rank and file follow them or pay the penalty.
a couple mine had - sisters could not have skirts that were either too short (above the knee) or too long, below the mid-calf - either extreme was worldly.
also, in order to have privileges (cause there were so many wonderful and fulfilling things for women in the borg) sisters must wear pantyhose.

What Religion Are You?

but, for those that do attend somewhere, i was curious as to what type of church they chose after leaving the jws and what attracted them to that particular church or religion?
if you were not raised as a jw, did you return to the church you were raised in?

Taking a break.......

next weekend is a bit special for trev and i, and we are going off on holiday on sunday (25th) to spend 8 days relaxing on the meditterranean island of sardinia.

It's going to be great, I just know it! Now I've posted about it, I can hardly wait to get there, I wish we were ging tomorrow now, the next week just can't go by fast enough!

If you do, be very tactful, as she may cut you off herself if she thinks you are attacking her beliefs.

"It was Jehovah leading me..."

they kept their tv and vhs tapes (pre dvd era) down there.
it seems dear brother was a bit of a nosy fella, so he just happened to pop in one of their home movies of a trip they had taken to cuba and found some footage of my friend smoking a cigar.

82 yr old woman seduces 11 yr old boy...
by Gregor inthis happened about 2 yrs ago and the granny (foster mother) confessed she was lonely and her hubby was ill...sooo.. she is facing 3 yrs in prison for sexual intercourse with a minor.
.
next we'll hear that he is willing to wait for her so they can be together.
