i bumped into a jw at the store the other day.
he doesn't know i'm df'd (apparently) and i didn't decide to enlighten him.
he banged on for a bit about people we both knew, how service was that morning, etc.
i think maybe this vitality magazine is an Awake affiliate, so when it means the entire population of the world, it means the entire population of the NEW world..... so the 6 million, they will inhabit all of texas and the rest of the world would be empty!!! WOOHOO, texas is PARADISE!!!!!! hells yes baby, we're all excited about that one.... livin in texas, wearing cowboy hats and toting guns.... what will jehovah think???

i am 26 years old and from england.
i haven't been to a kingdom hall for 4 and a half years, i totally cut myself off from the jw's after their outright lack of love and concern for me while i was ill. all they cared about was getting me back to the hall, the fact i was sick made no odds to them.

was looking at the jan 15th watchtower and reading it side by side with the january awake.. jehobar is mentioned probably hundreds of times in the wt (anytime god is referenced), instead in the awake --> god is used instead!!.
the only 2 or 3 times it is used in this awake is when quoting scriptures directly and jehobar is in that scripture!.
they are using cute tactics to sway the nieve
ha ha, and then we wonder why they wanted us to present the awake and not the watchtower to ppl... they had to keep the WT dogmatic enough to keep the converts... but the awake had to be easy enough to interest potential converts...

my 15 year old phoned her jw father tonight.
a relationship between the two does not exist.
(i have touched on the reason why in other posts regarding both my children).
wow im so sorry she and u have to go through this... i know what its like to have a father like that.... JWs do not teach men to be fathers, they teach them to be power hungry control freaks... thats why he treats her so badly, because he no longer has control... im so glad she has you and her step father... i wish i had people like the two of you to take me in.... REMEMBER WHAT YOUR TRUE FAMILY IS, and thats what you have now...
