  A Little Down Tonight

  well everyone, i am a bit down tonight.

  i don't know if ya'll remember but a good friend of mine dies in january.

  now her husband, whom i am even closer to as i have known him longer is also going through a bad spell.

  Update with some not good news. I was told just minutes ago,my friend is being moved home for Hospice to come in. His cancer has advanced to the point of no help. I am a wreck

  Austin Powers ... tell me when I should be laughing please

  i'm sorry, but i've just watched one of the austin powers movies for the first time after hearing many people rave about them and imo it's almost as bad as "armageddon" that is on the other side.. i thought it was supposed to be a comedy?!

  it is kind-a like the poorest "carry-on" movie ever .

  the only saving grace that has stopped me switching over is heather graham ... who is hot !!

  Holy Crap, Simon and I agree on something! Everyone write this down for the history books. LOL. I too hate the Austin Powers film and find them extremely juvenile. And since I have such a weird phobia of midgets, that Mini Me character makes me ill. UGH!

  Daughter Moving On From JW BF . . .

  my daughter has been accepting of my intervening in her relationship with an unbaptized jw.

  although still sad at times, she is determined to finish high school (this is her senior year) and go on to college.

  (carl, her x-boyfriend, is a hs drop out and aspires to get a job at guitar center and eventually get certified for smog inspecting automobiles.

  Tornado Outside My Window

  about 15 minutes ago irreverent comes down and tells me to look outside the window.

  there we see a twister snaking down to the field behind us.

  i grabbed our important papers and grabbed the phone and ran into the laundry room in the basement.

  Blondie,

  We are having tornado weather also! Last summer I had just looked outside and it was sunny and three minutes later when I looked out a twister had picked up our decorative wishing well in the front yard and it was holding it straight up in tha air and then thre it across the road into a fild. ended up taking down several trees too. The whole time I stood there with my mouth open like some kind of idiot cause I was just in awe of the power. But, I hope to never see one again!

  100,000 Miles on my car!

  it happened yesterday at 4:30 pm while i was out-n-about doing errands... i got to watch my car's odometer roll over to 100,000 miles!

  here you are ladies, i dedicate all these to you individually, you ruddy bunch of balmpottin beauts.. .

  the two pictures of the bare ground is where i am landscaping the next door neighbours garden, courtesy of the garden artists - 'putting the culture in horticulture', my business.. .

  ok i've been trying to do these two posts now for about 4 hours, simons software is as ever hopeless, not that i do not appreciate his efforts.. what i'll do is this, tomorrow, i will put all these pictures into my yahoo photos and provide the link in a separate post so you will have to wait for that, for now, what is left of my sunday, i want to enjoy for myself, tis too nice to be stuck in front of this machine for another hour.. sorry..
