No way, If i had family that were witnesses still, I would tell embarrassing stories making them sound dumb referring to them as "this JW family i know" but clearly making it obvious its about them, haha, but I don't have any family left in it so no fun for Desiree

i hated service, hated getting up early, hated wearing dresses/skirts,hated bugging people early on the weekend, hated "preparing" for service (all i did was read the little blurb on the inside of the awake lol) hated being grouped with elder ihatecoffeebreaks and sister letsdoonemoredooreventhoughits12.......one day brother ihatecoffeebreaks asked me why my time was dropping in service and i said "because i hate service" ( i mean i was taught to be honest right?

I remember when we met up for coffee breaks and all the gossipy sisters would gloat about their placements of books, and then look at me and ask me what i placed, and me sitting there not wanting to be embarrassed lying and saying 4 mags when actually only one. And the dresses we were supposed to wear OH DEAR they were they ugliest things i was always praying that I never called on someone from my school

haha thats awesome, serves him right. I remember elders telling me to witness at school, to look at it like it was my own special territory
I even once did a science project on evolution or something, it was the gayest presentation ever!

My Crazy Mother learns a lesson
by RichieRich inyesterday (monday) i was off school and work, and i told my mother i would go out in service.
so monday morning i got up, got dressed, drove to the hall, and there was no one there.
i fell asleep in my car while i waited, woke up to wave at a brother, then fell back asleep, and then woke up, looked around and left.

If she would've taken the car from me and asked how I'd get where I needed to go I would simply say I guess I won't get where I need to be, but seeing as its work and school, I'm guessing she would've given in...sometimes I wonder what goes on in parents minds

I found that my heart wasn't in it, I was going to get my ten hours. When i placed mags, I didn't really think about the articles in it and how they would affect the people ( well for the most part) It just sounded like i was reading a script (sometimes the back of my hand haha) The householders picked up on it but since I was young (9ish..) they took them out of pity, I used that to my advantage to get more placements

Who will be resurrected according to the WTS?
by M.J. ini was wondering what the wts's stand is on who will be resurrected into the "new system".
because of the assertion that people have been "freed from sin" upon their death, shouldn't just about all people who ever lived deserve a resurrection?.
the only ones who won't be resurrected, according to the wts, are those who commit the unforgiveable sin:*** g75 10/22 p. 12 how can you benefit from this hope?
