The JWs still blind to the implications of the 1995 generation change
by greendawn inin 1995 the wts as time finally caught up with them, they had to yield to the inevitable and admit that its hitherto interpretation of the so called 1914 last generation was erroneous.
to all intents and purposes the end was indefinitely posrponed it could be centuries away according to the new explanation.
yet the r&f do not seem to realise these implications and are apparently suffering from collective blindness they still believe the end is as near as it was before 1995, just round the corner.

Another factor is that most dubs don't thoroughly read through wt literature and do research into old printings. I have had friends tell me that they cannot keep up with all the literature and barely are able to skim through the wt study article and book study lessons. That is exactly what the society is counting on by them publishing so much literature. They know that the majority of the r&f have no time to read all of their bull***t and no time to go back and compare older literature. The start of my exit from this cult came when I started to look back through older publications and saw the utter nonsense that God's "channel" was printing. Maybe it is simplistic thinking, but to me, the key to reaching our family and friends still in bondage is to get them to look at and examine the org's literary history.
ec
P.S. I know that going through really old literature is discouraged by the brothers....I was once chastized by an elder for looking at wt literature from the 20's that was in the KINGDOM HALL LIBRARY....
but as I reasoned with my wife..why have it available if it is not to be read and discussed? -

The wts continues to charge interest on loans to congregations. I started a thread on this topic a few months back.

Greendawn,
This organization provides the r&f dub with something that he or she is missing in their life. If the dub is afraid to make challenging decisions in life, the org pretty much will make up your mind for you. To most r&f, the society makes living life in this world less scary. So then, the average dub will continue to blindly follow their "mother" and be fed "meat in due season" because they cannot even begin to imagine life outside of the org. Unfortunately, one of those blind r&f dubs is my wife!

How about when the wts loans money to congregations to renovate or rebuild their kh's but then demands repayment WITH interest! What happened to all that Kingdom Hall Building Fund money that the wts receives from each congregation? What a f***ing brilliant scam these guys have going.

What Message is the GB Giving Mature Ones at Bethel With a Massive Lay Off?
by frankiespeakin ini wonder how this is effecting the morale of those mature ones still at bethel?

I spoke to the po's wife the other night after the branch letter from the KM was read to the cong. She and her husband are both at Bethel with over 20 years of time each. She said that they were concerned and a "little" afraid that they might get "the call" as she put it. I asked her to elaborate a little and she said that when the decision has been made to "re-assign" someone...they get a phonecall instructing them on where and when they have to meet Bethel higher ups to discuss their future. My....how loving!!!

Another WTS Contradiction!!!
by enlightenedcynic injust a thought that i had at a book study about two weeks ago when the chapter about why god permits suffering from the 'bible teach' book was being covered.
in paragraphs 12 -14 the wts lays out this ridiculous arguement likening god to a teacher and satan as a student who is disrupting a class.
the wts says that much like how a teacher might invite a rebellious and disruptive student to instruct the class so as to prove the student wrong....jehovah has allowed satan to operate for a time in order to prove that satan's way is wrong.

Hello everyone, Just a thought that I had at a book study about two weeks ago when the chapter about why God permits suffering from the 'Bible Teach' book was being covered. This, the wts says, benefits the entire class, because when the rebellious student fails, "all honest students will see that the teacher is the only one qualified to lead the class". Okay.....but a teacher wouldn't let the student attempt to teach day after day after day and for the rest of the semester!!!!! Also, if God is so confident and knows that his way of rulership is correct and has the balls to allow Satan to prove him either right or wrong...how come the wts doesn't allow disenting "voices" to be heard in the organization? Why not give us "rebels" an opportunity to prove wts theology right or wrong? If it is the "truth" than it will stand? No?? Of course we all know the answer to those questions but I just couldn't help but think that once again the wts makes a statement and expects the r&f to accept it as fact, but then contradicts their own statements with their actions. What a complete load of bull***t!!!! ec

Integ, when I was an elder a few years ago, he "confessed" his "problem" to me. I told him he needed to get a handle on it and to try to work it out and not beat himself up all the time. So "he needed to get a handle..." on the problem, "and not beat himself ...all the time". I have to agree with the others on this minimus, what kind of advice was that? EC

Last week at the WT study, during one of the paragraphs...the conductor said that "there is both good and bad murmuring". He also said, "When a problem arises in the congregation, we shouldn't congregate with one another and discuss it among the friends...NO....we should go to the elders first without kicking it around, even if it is just with one other person". He concluded with, "thats when the trouble starts up, when the friends discuss matters among themselves, seperate from the elders".
HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO......can you say this is a f***ing cult!!!!!

Why Did Adam & Eve Need An Immune System???
by enlightenedcynic inhere is a question i would like answered intelligently if possible.
i asked my wife and another brother during an informal gathering of friends and was given the typical "wait till the new system, jehovah will answer all questions" response.
for the last year or so i began to seriously doubt the existence of a "loving, caring god".

Hello All,
Here is a question I would like answered intelligently if possible. I asked my wife and another brother during an informal gathering of friends and was given the typical "wait till the new system, Jehovah will answer all questions" response.
For the last year or so I began to seriously doubt the existence of a "loving, caring God". So admitedly my question does come from a slanted viewpoint but here we go anyway. Begining with the position that God put humans here on earth in a paradise, in perfect health...when then did the need for an immune system arise? Did Adam and his wife already have this when they were created? If they did, then why would a "loving, caring, God" also create organisms, bacteria, and insects that would assault this immune system. Didn't this God posses the ability to keep all living organisms and creatures in perfect harmony? Perhaps my question is a bit simplistic, but I just cannot grasp the idea that two humans were supposedly created perfect, yet they needed an immune system to protect them from a perfect garden setting. Maybe God gave them this immune system after their "fall", as some sort of gift, along with clothing to cover their loins?
Interested in hearing your thoughts on this.
