  i like the society never apologize anymore!

  if i say something wrong or do something incorrect i merely say excuse me the light just got brighter.

  most people look confused when i say this, as do the people in the watchtower bible tract society, but i felt it works for them,------------ its good enough for me.. excuse me the light just got brighter yes i like the sound of that.. one member of the writing department said to another we really got this disfollewshipping thing wrong-------- first we say we cant talk to them.

  This eeeh...."urgency", been going on for about a century now. Ahem...now, if I met this guy I would have to say:

  "Buddy, if you've felt this "urgency" for this long...there is a ways to rectify that situation".

  For those who have family that are still willing to talk to you...ask them this question:

  Do you like watching the Wizard of OZ?

  It's funny. I knew tonz of witnesses who would watch this movie, and still do. Let's think about this for a second:(puts on JW goggles)

  1) It has a bad witch, that does practice her magic powers in this movie.
  2) Use of a crystal ball
  3) Glenda the "good witch" also uses her magical powers.
  4) Ruby Slippers item of magical enchantment with magical powers.
  5) A "wizard" is in it, grant it he doesn't use any "magical" powers, but hey...he's a "wizard".

  A lot of JW's and fundamental christians (I like calling 'em Fun-I'm-mental) just luuuuv The Wizard of OZ. Yet they have this double standard when it comes to Harry Potter, Pokemon, Smurfs, etc.

  Kid's day the darndest things

  one of my sister's (whom was a jw at the time) kids picked up one of those neat little "lines", that he didn't know the meaning of.

  this line was "fuck it".. for an entire day, the little brat went around saying the word..over...and over...and over, you get the point.. so i pick up my sister to go do lunch.

  A True D8TA Family Experience to Share

  One of my sister's (whom was a JW at the time) kids picked up one of those neat little "lines", that he didn't know the meaning of. This line was "Fuck it".

  For an entire day, the little brat went around saying the word..over...and over...and over, you get the point.

  So I pick up my sister to go do lunch. Sit the kid in the toddler seat, and he continues his little phrase as we are driving.

  My sister finally got a bit peeved and the following conversation ensued:(names been changed for obvious reasons)

  Mysister: Look that's not really a nice word to say son.
  Nephew: Fuck it.
  Mysister: I mean it, stop saying that, it's not polite.
  Nephew: Fuck it.
  Mysisiter: Look, your uncle isn't going to take you to McDonald's if you keep saying that!
  Nephew: Fuck it.
  Mysister: You know son, saying that dirty word, it wont get you in to Jehovah's Kingdom.(parroting a phrase our mother used to throw guilt trips at us with.)

  Then, for about 3 seconds he stopped. I'm looking at the rear view mirror (containing my laughter) and I spot this sly little look in his eyes. He breaks the pause and says....

  MyNephew:Fuck it.

  My sister and I laughed so hard, I even had to pull the car over due to the laughter impairing my driving.

  Rumors that they spread about you. When you left.

  for some time now i have been reading numerous indivisual life stories relating to their experience with the jws and one obscure ( or at least not directly elabourated upon) detail keeps popping up.. it would appear that whenever a person leaves the organisation by da/df/ia that people take it upon themselves to start spreading "nasty rumours" about the person in question.. it always seems that so much of these said rumours that were frabicated and then propagated throught the local jw community that the poaster almost never seems to have time to goint any detail about what exactaly was said about them in detail.. i would like to invite the posters here on the board to shed some light on their experience regarding their reputation after leaving the kh.. it would appear that once disfelloshipped that the jw community must make it abundantly clear that the person is of absolutely deplorable character inorder to justify their inhumane treatment of the df'ed indivisual.

  saying that there is no honourable way to leave the oragnisation this seems to be rather common place.. i am also informed that even if the df'ed person were permitted to return that their reputation within the jw community would never be the same due to the tarnishing of their name and the stigma attached to being df'ed.. i may not be entirely too shure about this one but it would seem that if while still in good standing should the indvisual to become "publicly reproved" or "marked" that this would also be an invitation for the local jw community to begin the same process of defaming the character of the person in question.. would anyone care to discuss your personall experience relating to any private information which became public knowledge after you left the jw community or any half truths that were deileberately propagated to tarnish your name in the vacinity of the kh.

  and even worse yet blant lies that were imagined and promoted about you inorder to permanatently damage your character.. i would also be interested in who exactly you think were responsible for the iniation of these rumours.. was it the elders?

  My younger sister who still talked to me, even after my DF. One week after I was DF'd, (for apostasty...simply said I didn't believe in the WTBTS point of view), my sister came home crying and told me that a vicious rumor had made it through the hall about me. I was 16 when I was DF'd. The Rumor: That I had met some 25 yr. old "worldly" man, and I was DF'd on "fornication" for having homosexual relations with him.

  I'm straight folks. I don't have any "fem" qualities.

  When my "worldly" dad got wind of this...oh man! He called up the head elder (forget what they call him in the hall--Presiding Overseer?) and said if He and the JC elders did not clear up this matter and set things straight, he would take civil action against each one of them personally. Whether the law was on his or my side or not, it set a fire under their asses. They cleared up the situation by the following week. The rumor was dead.

  In order to appease my dad's anger, the elders had actually "ADMITTED" that the rumor had spurred from one of the JC elders wives...who happened to be the hall's "look-at-me-sister-pioneer". Which...in a weird event, she actually VERBALLLY apologized in PERSON (while I WAS DF'd) to me.

  For some reason, when I envision a Fundalmentalist trying to "prove a point"...and losing the argument...I see somebody with a Bible,Quaran, or Torah. Raising it high above their heads they shout: "By the power of Grayskull...errr, *cough* GOD ALMIGHTY, I have the power"!

  Taliban said they had "God" on their side. Everyone else=evil.
  WTBTS says they have "God" on their side. Everyone else=evil.
  Taliban supressed their women and children.
  WTBTS supresses women and children.
  Taliban forbade education from beyond their point of view.
  WTBTS forbids education from beyond their point of view.
  Taliban issued consequence by their "theology" if it was questioned.
  WTBTS issues consequence by their "theology" if it is questioned.

  Which one of these groups is doing it's own thing? Can you tell, which one? Which one of the groups is doing it's own thing? Can you tell me before my song is done? Before the song is done. (Sesame Street song).

  I was BORN in to the beliefs system of WTBTS. I was FORCED to follow their rules. I was RAPED for 16 years of childhood WITHOUT A CHOICE. Do I have the RIGHT to be UNLOVING to the assholes who were shoving their dicks in my ass without my permission for 16 years? YOU BET YOUR ASS I DO. You-just-dont-get-it. Do ya. I dont go around ENFORCING rules upon people without a choice. The GOVERNING BODY does. I have no accountability to 6 million people and the CHILDREN who have NO CHOICE, now do I? My Mom..doesnt talk to me per say of GB. My older sister does not talk to me per say of GB. The GB LABLED ME an Apostate.

  If you like, and dont comprehend what is being said here....let me tie you down, take a broom handle and shove it up your arse for 16 years from the day you were born, then when you tell me it "aint right" ....I tell your family cut ties with you completely. Then, because you didn't like the fact of my broom handle being shoved up your arse, I label you an Apostate. And oh, by the way, you can't be "unloving" to me afterwards.

  London Weekend.

  we had a wonderful few days in london.

  we stayed at the union jack club in waterloo, its a 3*** hotel that caters for servicemen and their guests.
