  Satan a Murderer?

  so took the wives car instead of mine in today, the watchtower was playing, i got to hear t.morris life story as narrated by him, but that is another story entirely... long story short, the study article it went into was about satan.

  first of all the person reading sounded like the epitome of a brainwashed drone.

  second this is why meeting and hearing these things make me more of an unbeliever than any exjw website.

Second this is why meeting and hearing these things make me more of an unbeliever than any exjw website. So many reasoning fallacies, so much propaganda, so much stupidity.

  One thing I thought that got me wondering, was Jesus called Satan a murderer.

  Now we have all seen the charts of of how many people in the bible God killed Vs Satan Killed. Pretty astounding, however if you even suggested such a claim to R&F they would say well Satan is responsible for ALL mankind's death. All of humanity.

  So thinking about that, something that has bothered me in the past I keep mulling over. In this work of fiction (the bible), who's fault is it? Adam and Eve and now by extension because of the desert gods perfect justice all of humanity are sentenced to death. Because they sinned! So then isn't Adam and eve the murderers? and Satan just told a fib? Or if as jesus said he is the murderer, then weren't Adam and eve just genuinely deceived? Then Satan would be the guilty one?

  Now I know Witnesses will say they are all guilty because that is the only way it will make sense, but from a theoretical standpoint, who's crime is it? If satan mislead mankind, then isn't it just that, misleading? or if Adam and eve acknowledged the risk and consequences, then was satan really guilty of murder for them pulling the trigger?

  This is why i hate all this crap, it makes my head hurt, and the only way to numb the nonsense of the bible and jw.org is to because a mindless cult drone.

  at around 42 minutes, a women find jehovahs witness, but her husband is not too hot on the idea and so she has to study with her children in secret.

  however eventually the husband prays to jehovah that if jehovah will help him find a leak in a construction he is working on, he will go to a meeting and presto, the next day jehovah help him find the leak so now he is a witness..

  Because if you pray to god for work he won't give it to you, but if you pray for forgiveness......

  How many members left the Watchtower because of all the Hatred and Anti-christian behavior? Were you exposed to betrayal, lies and slander against your family?

  i am trying to wrap my head around 2014 and all the evil we experienced while the elders and overseer said "wait on jehovah because that's what all the true believers do!

  " and i explained it's too painful to see the wicked people who brought my family suffering giving talks and providing other witness families with instruction we are to use when the end comes.

  why are the quite members those who get treated like trash while members who call down evil upon the organization get everything they want so they will keep their mouths shut?.

  Experiencing it now... and I am still "in" on paper. Strangely enough, the last two halls I have been in have some pretty "christian" elders that are actually not @$$holes. Non-judgmental understanding and compassionate. They are still apart of the machine, but they are not wanting to do any witch hunts, or give more than their standard pressure they are obligated by the board of directors to do. So in that regard I am fortunate, my family on the other hand have made their stand against me, in their effort to throw me under the bus and make sure they are uber righteous, they have made HUGE assumptions, they have lied to my wife, they have shared my private conversations with others. its been a hot mess.

  Question on Genesis 6:5

  in genesis 6:5 jehovah confirmed to jehovah that all actions from man would be bad and only bad and all the time.

  does that not make genesis 6:8 a bad thing?

  a willingly forced respect toward jehovah that was enough foundation to build love from.

  Active posters: What education have you had, what degrees do you possess?

  from so many posts and conversations on here, you'd think over 1/2 the posters here possess doctorates in theology, physics, biology, etc.

  i'm curious aside from the books and research people have done here, what degrees they have.

  to start, i just got an aa and going straight through full time to an mba.

  Bachelors degree in business.

  I needed it to get where I am, but I feel unless you are learning a technical skill, its just an accomplishment. Super successful people often have no university degree, and some people that have them become wealthy because they are the same type of person, educated or not.

  A formal education will make you a living, self education will make you a fortune...

  Learn to hustle.

  All witnesses need a plexiotomy. Thats where you install a window on your front abdomen so you can see with your head up your ass.

  The two things I see they rely on to get away with murder is 1. imperfect men,but they are trying!, and 2. god is revealing things gradually because we can't handle the truth up front.

  All nonsense. The gradual light brighter BS, when has he ever let his servants in the bible believe ongoing lies and changes in his "doctrine"? Maybe on some grand scale, but little truths were not constantly re-understood over time.

  I did the same thing. I lost my cool. When I had a bunch of half wits corner me and question me and call me names and accuse me of apostasy and talk about how ignorant I am I came unglued. The after affect from the hypocrites..."how dare you insult us" the sad thing is before I would have never called my family half wits. But their inability to differentiate truth from cult has left me baffled. Not even that they want to believe the org but that their answer is to act childish and go BEYOND the org in the super self righteous judgement.
