  how long did you hang on to the language?

  i have noticed some who have recently left still hang on to 'unique' language of the society.

  how long did it take you stop using the buzz words and things like brother, sister, jah, and many others?

  and do you still recognize the word jehovah as a word for god?

  I fight not to use them. I hate it when I do. I've done pretty well at saying "lucky" instead of "fortunate" I hated being told I wasn't allowed to say I feel lucky anymore. I also hate the word encouraging after hearing it a bazillion times. Or uplifting, same thing. I try to use other things like build up, or exciting, or even slang, "that's happenen man" LOL

  JW's do believe in Hell

  i was thinking today about the jw vision of "paradise on earth," and i realized that their vision is actually hell.

  who would want to spend 1000 years living with lions, picking berries, hanging out with other jws, and not being able to have sex?

  that's not paradise, that's hell!

  Hey Gumby, I was taught the same thing, if you and your marraige partner enver died, and live through amegubbin, you would still be able to not only have sex, but have children. The excuse was, if all the unrighteous were destroyed, then people would still have to fill the earth and subdue it

  JW's ruin my dinner.

  i took my family to red lobster tonight and shortly after we were seated ( it was about 5 pm- early) a large party came in and took up two tables next to us.

  one young woman had a very loud laugh and because of that i kept looking at their table.

  then i noticed a young black couple with a toddler- then i noticed all the men had suits and ties- then i noticed three single men were sitting together and three single women next to them- and finally one young couple that i decided were married.

  Lord have mercy! Don't lie, don't cheat, don't be abusive in any way shape or form, have a job, don't have to be rich, just have a darn job, and realize this isn't the 1950's, we have to work to help with bills, men have to help with house work, that's it, nuff said, LOL !

  I would be scared to death, however, I would be relieved at the same time. The world is so cruel, it would be nice to know something better is waiting, but who knows.... I don't know what to believe anymore

  Can a Sexual Predator Be Cured?

  the state of california is conducting an experiment by releasing some sexual predators, who have undergone treatment at a state hospital into some communities.

  one such example is cary verse, who is now in bay point.

  convicted of sexual assault of three boys and a man and treated in atascadero state hospital, he left treatment in feb. 2004 and is now on conditional release.

  There is no cure, no fricken way....... who can imagine what goes through such a sick mind to do something so disgusting, I don't believe there is a cure
