  Should I admit to JWs that I am disfellowshipped?

  i know about 2000 jws in sydney, and have 50 that are tax clients, so barely a week goes by without bumping into someone i know.

  it seems that few of them realise that i am disfellowshipped because they talk freely to me.

  last week i accidently sat next to an elder on the train and we engaged in small talk for over 30 minutes.. should i admit to these people that i am not a jw?.

  i am not gay and never have been one, but do you think that your local society treats gays with respect or that it has no tolerence for such a sexually different and in the thought of many deviant minority?

  i personally don't approve of their activities but i can understand that they are genetically predisposed in that way and can't change.

  I'm from Madison, and I think that its not a big deal. People don't look at each other and squirm. Very accepting of most lifestyles. I really like that.

  years ago when i was attending my old kh there was an elder that was very stern.

  bro glen(not his real name) used to be very firm in telling students about their talks not being good, or where they needed to improve.

  i know i was "terrified" of bro glen.

  Yeah, I guess our circuit had a problem with drinking b/c they said something about it at the 2 day assembly just about our circuit. I was thinking... damn, even the Jdub's know how to old their own with liquor in Wisconsin, lol..

  Another reason the WTS doesn't want JWs on the net?

  we all pretty well understand that the wts tells jws that bing on the internet is dangerous to their spiritual standing because people on the net are controlled by satan

  but... maybe there is a second reason.we also know that the wts believes if people read the wt literature they will come to the wrong conclusions.

  people require someone to sit with them and read every paragraph of a wt book to make sure they understand the book in the right way.we know the website for the wts is pretty sanitized so people don't run off too quicklywe know there is no place on the wts' website for discussion.

  JW - by the way, as a JW, it is frowned upon to say "OMG," so maybe you should go pray and repent or take your head out of your butt. Either one will do just fine.
  I agree with you all 100%. I try talking to my mom and asking her questions about the religion and when she doesn't have an answer, she says, "Go do your own research. I don't need those questions answered to believe." And I just think, that's crazy, you're blindly believing something that you really know nothing about.
