Maybe the generation can be defined on those of old in bible who supposedly lived for hundreds of years...Jehovah meant the generation of an OT man, since that is where Jehovah draws most of his teaching from.

How can one stick their fingers in the nail holes of a spirit, how can a spirit eat.......I am not a bible expert, but doesn't Jesus specifically state he was bodily resurrected????
This is one thing I really wonder about with the WTS, why commemorate the death of a man, when what made this man so significant was his conquering death for ALL WHO BELIEVE IN HIM.
I am the resurrection and the life.....if you believe then you shall live.
Another question, why are the remnant partaking of the elements if the WTS truly believes that Christ has returned in 1914. Doesn't the bible state to do this until he returns?

well any way those stupid elders whom i knew personally for many years wanted to know every juicy (no pun intended) tid bit of what went on between me and this good friend of mine, a long time sister in good standing, i told them what the hell, you guys dont know what sex is!

Does the application of these rules then vary greatly country to country, congregation to congregation....if so, who sets the tone for the strictness of application, the CO or the coordinator of the board of elders.......

In fact the Young People Ask book says no kissing unless "marriage seems imminent." (YPA P. 255)

Guilt trip

i was drifting away from the org, when my sister-in-law told me i was being selfish.
she said she was at aloss for words as to what to tell her 11 year old daughter about me.

That is what they use, quite effectively, on my wife. When she misses a meeting, reschedules a study and even for not having me come along....I heard the sister just telling her how awful it would be to not be guaranteed resurrection and the ability to see her family in the new system of things.....puke......

Things I learned at the 2009 DC !!!
by tresdecu inunfortunately i had the "flu" friday and saturday.
but i made it to the sunday session to make an apperance.. on sunday, i learned that we are,... ready, this is a new one for me :"...on the doorstep of the great tribulation..." so close brothers!
