This happened to me a while back with a poster on this forum, and more than anything really hurt my feelings. Here we are trying to get away from lies and conditional friendships, and then you start talking to someone in a similar situation and then they lie.

Adam & Eve question???
by tan inone of my workmates just asked or stated...why did eve have to have a rib from adam and all of the the other animals were just created?
funny thought but interesting.

Darn tootin good question!! Her is my 2 cents...Since adam was created in God's image then woman (eve) was created in mans image? And a man's rib was needed for this?

Egypt Outlaws all Female Circumcision
by Rabbit inegypt has somewhat joined civilization.
with all the misogynistic practises in the middle east already, taking away a woman's right to actually enjoy sexual relations, is barbaric and pitiful.
their 'lot' in life in one (1) more country just got a little better.

Jigsaw puzzles anyone?
by Lady Lee ini love them.
there was a time when i always had one on a large cardboard that i could push under the sofa when i needed the table.
believe me they helped my sanity during my last few years as a dub.. i had to give them up when i got cats because they thought all those nice little puzzle pieces were cat-sized hockey pucks.

Awesome!! Thank you! I love jigsaw puzzles, they are sooooo addicting, but now with a seven month old I was no longer able to do them cause he likes to grab the peices and slobber all over them, then the peices don't fit when they dry...hahahaha.

Did You Like Your Congregation?
by minimus inthe hall i was in the last few years was not a bad place.
most of the people were middle class, some had college educations (like the po and his wife); they generally weren't over critical.
of course there were a few elders and publishers that were pains but for the most part the people in that hall were pretty decent.

My congo. was pretty good except for the fact that most had been raised in the truth so they really had no clue as to what the "real" world was and how to offer any "real" advice.

What Made You Fall in Love With Your Husband/Wife/Lover ,Significant Other?
by flipper inhey all.
mr. flipper.
when in the witnesses, the fanciful thought is put forward that the main thing important in a marriage is the "threefold cord" having god in your marriage.

My guy understood that I had a past, made mistakes and pulled myself up by my bootstraps....alone. He told me the reason he fell in love with me was cause "I didn't need him".
I fell in love with him, because he had been down my road and never judged me as so many had.I realized I was in love, for real this time, when I had the thought that if he left me tomorrow, I would have been blessed because I had the opportunity to meet a true blue guy like him.

If you think you've seen a ghost.....................
by Warlock insince i'm taking a beating somewhere else, i might as well take one here.. if you google "ghosts" you will get over 25 million results.
actually 25,200,000. now i know some are repeats or whatever.. in checking just a few sites, some sell books, some have only experiences, some have both.
one site i went to about 6 months ago had over 500 experiences.

I truly believe in ghosts. I have had a few experiences in my life that just can't be explained away. I lived in an old farm house growing up and we were not allowed to go upstairs, but yet we always heard someone walking around up there and drumming their fingers on the floor ( my ceiling), and when we would sneak up there in the summer ( there was no central air in the house) it was always freezing cold.
What I can't figure out are all the skeptics out there that are ready to point and scream "crazy" when someone does tell of an experience they have had with the supernatural. I mean do we really have proof that God does exist? And wouldn't you be believing in the supernatural of you were believing in God? Afterall you can't see him or hear him, but yet feel his "prescence" in your life? So wouldn't that qualify as the same thing?
