MY SON WAS ATTACKED!
by Dansk inyesterday afternoon my older son, karl, who is studying musical production at brighton university, came round to see his family.
he had just been to see his pregnant girlfriend, who is staying with her mum and dad for a week.. karl is a wonderful boy; the type of son any parent would be proud of.
he is loving, considerate, respectful and has never once caused any trouble or been in any.

we had a young retarded kid in our cong , who had his hand up for every single question , usually the bro would take his comment as he would just say "jehovah" but this time he takes the mic and starts this long winded comment rounded off with"satans going to cause a civil war!

During one Service Meeting a brother was giving a talk relating how many young people commit suicide, giving examples of how they did it and figures from different countries about how many suicides took place. Really depressing talk.
After expounding his unhappy facts, he opened it up to the audience. "How does all that make you feel brothers"?
In the audience was a 'study' who was obviously not used to the procedure for answering.
After a few seconds of silence the 'study' shouted out......."SUICIDAL". Laugh? Oh yeah.

there were about 20 ex-jw's there just bashing the watchtower society for 2 hours.
i had all i could take and left.

I find myself sympathising with you booker-t.
To rant on and on about it for 2 hours at a social gathering where people are there to enjoy themselves is almost dysfunctional.
We have left HELL......why would we want to bring it with us??
This site is good for the occasional rant but some do seem to be really bogged down and damaged, which is sad.

What do you do when a old Boyfriend wants to meet up for dinner........
by whyamihere inwe are just friends and we talk maybe 3 or 4 times a year, just to catch up.
well today, actually 5 minutes ago he said he was going to be in my area with in the next month and wants to have dinner.. i don't see a problem with it.
i haven't seen him in years and it would be nice just to meet up for dinner and some laughs.
