I don't know of any specific changes but I'm very curious as to how they'll address the Sunday meetings in view of apostates, unbaptized or
worldlies attending the Koolaid version Watchtower study.
When I called Bethel a way back...
http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/11/129593/2297707/post.ashx#2297707
...it was clear that the "Public Talk" was indeed open to the public, but the "Congregation Watchtower Study" was for JWs and regular attenders.
Will they demand unbaptized people vacate the hall so they can bolt the doors start the secret study? What about "interested ones" who are not
yet "unbaptized publishers"? What about the disfellowshipped who are now announced "no longer a Jehovah's Witness"? What about inactive ones?
Who decides and enforces "regular attendance"?
I envision it like the Soup Nazi episode on Seinfeld where people will have to grovel at the literature counter for the *speshul* edition...
Not enough hours? NO magazine for YOU!

Scatter orange peels where they're coming in.
Even better, Orange Guard which is distilled from citrus peels, 100% natural and safe for pets.

There is a pic in the Paradise Lost book of a man sitting amongst a bunch of dried-up skeletons... Elijah or one of the prophets. What took the edge off of its scariness was that my older sister drew roller skates on his feet, LOL!
Roller skates were her last Christmas present in 1971, when mom got dunked at Yankee Stadium. What the hell was was mom thinking, exposing us to such nightmarish trash?
We're big girls now but a part of me still mourns for the innocent babes we were before that sinister "children's" book entered our lives. Our little bro, thankfully, does not remember it.

The Hyena - Testament to a Grand Creator! No, wait....
by PopeOfEruke inwhat a masterful example of jehovahs's loving kindness and wisdom is the hyena.. most carefully jehovah designed the birth canal of the female hyena to abruptly do a 140 degree turn just before the normal place of exit for the birth canal and change direction back to the head of the mother.
the birth canal then ends in what is generally referred to as a female pseudo-penis, a narrow tube exiting the body exactly where the male penis does.. .
when the young hyena mother first gives birth, most times the young get stuck around the bend or lower down in the tight "penis", where they suffocate and die.

Ahh, yes, Jehovah's loving arrangement (tm) as exemplified in his grand creation!
“They appear to accept their rank. Things only change when a dominant animal dies, and there’s such a strong hierarchy the next ranking one just moves up. It’s interesting, because it appears that it’s really important to be high-ranking for reproduction, and yet the lower-ranking animals don’t challenge the higher-ranking ones.”

The Power of the Question: what most are missing
by Vernon Williams ini want to make a statement, and, if there is any interest, develope it a bit.. in the interactions one has with a jw, no matter what level in the org.
or what the topic is, this needs to be remembered: .
whomever controls the question controls all.. the jws are trained to control the result of the conversation through argument manipulation.

Hi Vernon,
"Approaching Jehovah's Witnesses in Love: How to Witness Effectively Without Arguing" by Wilbur Lingle is quite sincerely written. He really did his homework on the JWs and it shows. He provides practical advice along the lines of questioning you're discussing. It's somewhat like an antidote to the "Reasoning" book.
His questions can and do stop JWs in their tracks... in a loving and non-confrontational way, which is of paramount importance. It was not until reading his book that I realized some Assemblies of God and non-denominationals had been using Mr. Lingle's scripture-based tactics on me!

Do you think that the 'Convention' tract work will seem silly to most?
by AK - Jeff inin this territory it will mean 'inviting' people to a religious convention about 200 miles away, about a religion that most already do not care about.
i believe this could be a 'tactical error' on the part of the gb, who seem mostly interesting in keeping the urgency level on high with this.
but as far as future converts are concerned, won't most people who were riding the fence as to classifying this group as a cult, go ahead and jump down on the affirmative side of the fence with this stupidity?

Jeff, I think that link is to last year's tract?
This year is "Follow the Christ." Atlantis posted scans here:

Future converts are not the aim at all. They don't seriously want a bunch of unwashed worldlies showing up at conventions thirsting for knowledge.
The "invitation" is just a front to show they carry out "free educational programs" in compliance with non-profit rules. The aim is to maintain precious tax-free status.
The publishers fall for the ruse that they're performing lifesaving work and everyone's happy in la la land. The zero success rate never even phases them.

Welcome to Fellow Newbie Oracle
by SnakesInTheTower ini posted a new topic so i could expand on some comments without hijacking the hugging 5thgeneration thread.
my take on point 1: blood transfusions.
personally, i still would not accept blood transfusions, but not because of some borg mind control.
