  Your frst ever computer

  what was the first ever computer that you owned?

  no doubt some here had some of the earliest home computers that came out such as the commodore 64. .

  i bought my first one relatively late in 1997, it had cpu 200 mhz mmx, 2.3gb hard disk, 64mb ram, 2mb graphics card, modem 36k.

  i was listening to a testimonial by valerie acuff and she said that she was sitting in an assembly, looking around at the crowd and thinking to herself, "this is your family, these are your people.".

  she said at that moment she heard a voice inside say, "these are not your people, this is not your family, get up and leave now, and don't ever go back.

  " so she took her two children at that very moment and left, and she never went back.

  Meeting JWs in other regions or countries

  when you were a jw what sort of experiences did you have with other non local jws that you met for the first time perhaps in other regions or countries?

  was there a real sense of brotherhood?

  when we went to brussels in 1980 jws there put us up in their houses, they picked us up at the bus station and during free time they showed us around their city.

  have you ever encountered this text in acts 21:20 ?

  the "new king james version" rendering is as follows: "and when they heard it, they glorified the lord.

  and they said to him, you see, brother, how many myriads of jews there are who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law"
