I can relate and understand. It's a sad, sad day when that happens! I'm in a constant quest for the Perfect Pair of Jeans; the couple that I've found and that have died.... ohh, devastating.
My condolences.

i never went out in the field service on the week-ends.
i did't want to meet too many people afterall !!!.
so, i went out in the field service only during the week, and only in the morning, knowing that not many would answer, because people were either at school, or at work.
Fave -- out in the rurals with a carload of 'weak' sisters and the one in our cong who had to have pee breaks at least twice. Back into town we'd go... Those mornings we'd end up with maybe a two doors.
Worst -- any day that was sunny and warm and all I could think about was wishing I was home or out driving my jeep with the top down, music up.
I've done "midweek" service just a few times. I work FT, so the opportunity wasn't there. So I had to waste my Saturdays....

no it is replys to others. why?
If you're replying to someone and their point in particular, putting it in quotes is really helpful. A lot less confusing... Just tryin' to help. ~merfi
what were the main things that made you realise the wts is a fraudulent organisation the real aim of which is to conceal important truths from its members while cleverly manipulating them to work for its interests?
they have secrets that they do not reveal to the r&f.
for me it was the way the gb treated the other "anointed" as non entities in the org, it made me realise that they are power lusting self serving wolves with fred franz being the classic example.
I'm about 20 pages short of finishing CoC and any tiny hope of "maaaaybe there's something to this 'truth' thing" has completely disappeared. This book clarified it all for me. There is no god in this org. It's a man-made idol to which sacrifices of family ties and friendships, potentially happy childhoods and adulthoods have been made. Cantankerous old coots on their Brooklyn thrones, making decisions that have ruined thousands of lives. It screams "cult" so loud that some days it rings in my ears.
So in summary, for me, the fraud is that it is ALL man-made.

rant of desperation.. so i went grocery shopping last night after a huge meal.
everyone says how it's so good to shop full because you'll buy better stuff.
well i did buy better things; but, i'm starving!!
I know a little bit about this stuff.... enough to know when I'm screwing up my 'plan' of eating right. (Body For Life dropout, 2001) First of all, "hello, my name is Rachel. I'm a carboholic." *phew*, that's out. Ok, now onto a plan of not being a starvin marvin by end of day. Try eating not a bigger breakfast, but one with more protein in it. Fruit with cottage cheese, for example. As well, fiber (*gack* I know) will keep you going (no pun intended) longer in the morning. Yogurt + salad is a good lunch, I think. But it's a loooonnng afternoon, and if your a carbophile like me, 3-4pm is "SHOW ME THE SNICKERS BAR" time. Try a handful of peanuts or almonds or something protein-y again mid-afternoon.
Supposedly, the BEST eating plan is several small meals throughout the day, minimal carbs (cut way down on the 'white flour' carbs) and drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces in water. When I've done this, it has worked, but... then someone brought damn cookies to work one day and well... I'll be back on this "next week"

On the contrary, we welcome you and your comments. I think it was told to you that it's mostly exJW here out of kindness -- so that you know you may not be agreed with in some of your opinions. You warned up there a bit about not obeying the FDS and being on an apostate site, we just want you to know that that is where you are as well...
So, could you tell us your story? What brought you here? How long have you been in the Truth?
