I played this game when i was kid, that was until the teachers found out what we were doing and put a stop to it. It has been around FOREVER. As a kid you have no clue what you are doing.

Yes, I have seen it b/4. I find it interesting that there is no where to comment or get in contact w/ the author. So it seems like a one-side convo.
Anyways, isn't the whole JW motto, no party of the world regardless of how small it might be. That being the case, if yet one mere person were stumbled by the WTBTS appearance of being associated w/ the evil UN, why wouldn't they totally avoid it like they expect every other robot of a JW to do! Personally, I don't care why they were associated w/ UN, just the fact that they kept it a uber secret is what I find annoying. They make all the rest of the "flock" tell their bad deeds (even private things b/w husbands and wives), but they are not held to the same standards.

there was a rumor going round in my old hall (cause us chicks out no. the bros. like 3 to 1 and single chicks it was even worse) that if you were a JW chick and you REALLY wanted to find a man, go to alaska or russia, cause those two places the dudes outnumbered the chicks.

i wonder if there is more to this story.

I totally agree about his anger issues. I also agree that his winning allowed him to get away w/ a lot more then a losing coach would have been allowed to get away w/. Truthfully, I am surprised he did not crash of a heart attack due to his out of control anger and my guess out of control BP. I just wonder what the story is.

Think about it, this guy is legendary. Most of us would expect him to die on the court, not walk away from it cause it is no longer fun. What has changed about the game that makes it no longer fun. It is not like MJ who retired from bb only to try his hand at baseball (and fail) and then return to bb.
Any opinions out there? Mine is that he has an illness that is serious and we will find out about it a little later.

I wonder if I know these people, cause I know a lot of JWs in the lower WI area. When I was a kid, there was a 3rd Gen JW that killed his wife w/ a baseball bat. They DF'd him, but then reinstated him while he was serving time in prison cause he was REALLY sorry, but she was not a proper wife according to Prov (I think it is prov or ps??) so she had it coming to her.
I agree w/ OTWO, they will DF the guy and say that they never knew he was crazy and that they do not condone this type of behavior. But then when he says "sorry" to the body of elder (not his wife of course), they will forgive him and let him back in. Then they will hope she will become a JW and use them as an example at the assemblies.

Depends on where you are and what you are looking for. In the Loop/River North/South Loop and West Loop areas, you can buy a 2 BR 2 Bath for anywhere from $275 to $300. But that does not include parking. W/ parking tack on about 30 to 40 more. Gold Coast and Lincoln Park are much more expensive. Keep in mind, there are taxes to pay as well. For my 1250 sq ft condo w/ balcony, I pay about $5,000 in city/county taxes. I also pay assessments of almost $500 a month. So when you add it up, the 2 BR 2 bath condo for 275 is actually more like 300.

By the WTBTS own definition, anyone who does not agree 100% w/ them is considered an apostate. That being the case, I would suspect that there are probably a few roaming the halls of bethel and all its other compounds.

how can I try to find a lost freind that may have been DF'd?

you've been out for a while and you move far away.
plenty of time passes by and you know by the odds at least some of those friends you had growing up as a witness should be df'd or they've disassociated them selves.

You may find that if you track down one person they know something about someone else, and so on and so on. It may take a while, but you may just need on inactive JW who keeps in touch w/ people who can put you in the know.
