  jesus denies being God! scriptural discussion.

  i thought after recently reading the bible i would put up for disussion some recent scriptures up which for me show that jesus never viewed himself as god and anyone listening would also see it this way too.. first mark 10 :17-20.

  17as jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him.

  "good teacher," he asked, "what must i do to inherit eternal life?

  You never answered my question, who ressurected Jesus Christ from the dead? If you say Jehovah, can you provide the scripture for it?

  according to one of your posts from 2003 you tell us that being publically ridiculed or disbelieved by apostates is a fullfilment of prophesy.

  Looking for some help about marriage

  hope this isnt a repost, couldnt find anything on the subject.. have a friend who is marrying a jw.

  he isn't a jw but she is (even though she doesnt really go or believe in it), her parents are strict jw's but wont goto their wedding cause of something about being unevenly yoked?

  now they both want her parents to go, but the parents tend to think they are not allowed to go.

  Have a friend who is marrying a JW. He isn't a JW but she is (even though she doesnt really go or believe in it), her parents are strict JW's but wont goto their wedding cause of something about being unevenly yoked? Now they both want her parents to go, but the parents tend to think they are not allowed to go.

  Now one of the brides friends is going to a wedding where again the groom is a JW but the bride isnt, so they went to their elders and asked if it was ok to go and they said it was a conscience matter. Now my friends brides parents said they will do some research to see if they are actually allowed to go (how controlled is that!).

  Anyways I told my friend that I would look into some things as well and hopefully get some answers. I looked in the bible but am unsure where exactly to look on the subject. Can anyone shed some light to where i can look? or a good website on the subject? Maybe something the bible says that will convince them that it is OK to go? Maybe the bible doesnt say its ok, but I just need some good info.

  1914 a time of the end?

  hey folks,.

  i have tried to tell a witness about 1914 and how it was predicted the end of the world, but they come back and tell me that some scripture in matthew i believe, shows how the devil was thrown out of heaven at that time and he came down and started world war 1. so they say even though the end didnt happen, something major happened in the world where everyone went to war.

  i just dont know how to come back to this.

  you need to change drug dealers.

  Im gonna have to say that this is pretty ridiculous. Im sure if I picked up any one of my novels and was trying to do what your doing, i could do the exact same thing. Does this mean that the author intended to put in some message?

  the last time i went on the field service was around the very early 90's.

  i have a genuine question for any jw that are active in the door to door work still.. i lived for finding the person that wanted to debate things, i would always be the one to call on the local atheist, vicar, etc etc.

  and would hammer home all that was had learnt and research myself with the wts literature of course.

  ill be sure to mention to the JW's next time they come to my house, that if you take the letter from each word and put them together, that it spells roses. Im sure this will convince them that the JW religion is wrong.

  the tyrannosoras rex would tear into the brontosauras with great shrieks of glee from jehovah and the angels.

  God is not responsible for an animal in its home attacking a child. God is also not responsible if I decide to turn around and attack someone. To think that is just ridiculous.

  anyways, i wont type our convo, but i remember looking at a post where someone had 14 examples of what defines a cult, i looked high and low and cannot find that list, so im hoping someone has it and can post it for me.

Anyways, i wont type our convo, but I remember looking at a post where someone had 14 examples of what defines a cult, I looked high and low and cannot find that list, so im hoping someone has it and can post it for me.
