  it looks like we might really be going to war (they voted against us) iraq is getting an antidote for nerve gas (sounds like they are preparing) i fear that israel will drop a bomb on them.if this happens all hell will break loose.

  does anyone know if they will start drafting?

  They are saying that the amount of troops this time around will be about half of during the Gulf War. There was no draft then, nor will there be one this time around. They have more than enough reserve troops.

  People were asking if there would be a draft because of 9/11, and we didn't even come close to needing it.

  what would make you come back to the organisation?

  after the 9-11 events, many were scared of what would happen next, and returned to the meetings.

  now that the dust has fallen, in more ways than one, what event in your life would make you reconsider and go back this time for good.. .

  I think Bin Ladin is dead. Buried in one of the caves in the mountains, remains never to be found.

  Think about it, some of the bombs dropped were huge, and would destroy quite an area. I think it landed on him and his men, and splattered his remains over a square mile, or he was in a cave that closed in on itself, and he sufficated, or died without food or water.

  I really think we would have concrete proof if he were alive.

  He was probably destroyed with many others, and no one survived. If that were the case, then in reality, no one knows if he were alive or not.

  This guy sounds like a jerk, with only one thing on his mind.

  At 28 years old, you should be able to find a good, mature man out there who will treat you like a queen. This guy has too many stories.

  This war will not take too long. I agree with a previous post that it will be very similar to the Gulf War. That really was not too much of a challenge.

  The difference this time, is that there is a bigger need and desire to actually get rid of Saddam. The US even 10 years later has better weapons than before.

  One thing different though, is Israel has said it will fight back this time if attacked.

  i personally feel that the single biggest problem in modern society, is the lack of taking personal responsibility for our own actions.

  i think that as a culture we have allowed people the room to make excuse after excuse, and accept these as something that should be legit.

  well w e see kids raised in families that love them, feed them, take care of them to the best of their means.

  I too hate it when people use excuses for their behavior. A grown adult has the CHOICE to act the way they do. I don't care if they had a rough childhood, or a certain culture behaves a particular way. People were made with free will. They can choose to do good, or choose to do bad.

  UN Vote Unanimous for USA-UK

  even syria voted against iraq by voting for the un resolution.

  wow!

  and china did not abstain as they have in the past ... the full 15 member sercurity council gave the usa/uk what they want ... while there are no automatic military triggers, the resolution does allow for unilateral action by member states if iraq continues "material breach" which is significant language in un speak.
