  In the video he falsely claims Jesus used the word Hell when he did use the word Gehenna. Look it up in any accrodance. Even NIV study bibles admit in the notes that it is Gehenna that Jesus used to describe death without belief in YHWH and those that belief shall be resurrected.

  can someone please outline the rationale and scriptures used to support the idea that disfellowshipping is a loving gesture?

  i am trying to understand how this behavior is justified, when in my mind in seems a simple matter; one only needs ask oneself, 'if jesus (or jehovah) were standing next to you, would jesus (or jehovah), support any shunning-type actions?

  ' i find it very difficult that the answer would ever be 'yes'.

  Read the New Testament especially the letters from Paul and the first seven chapters of Revelation. You can always elect to attend a Church that does not practice that.

  Every corporation or person has the right to refuse service to anyone and ask them to leave. If you do not leave then you are trespassing. The hate that seethes out from the posts her is disgusting.

  in the golden age goodies thread leolaia has posted two letters that were printed in the magazine written by rutherford, one in 1928 and the other in 1938. in both letters rutherford states either that radio "was created by god" or "no man invented radio".. rutherford also goes into his conspiratorial ideas of how the roman catholic church was working with the nazis to overthrow the governments of england and of the usa to bring in a totalitarian fascist government to both countries.. these remarks sound like the ravings of someone who is not mentally all there.. so the question that naturally arises is this: was rutherford mentally ill?.

  Man did not invent radio, but discovered how to send and receive radio signals to be transmitted using electromagnetic force. Stars, Galaxies, pulsars and black holes have been transmitting radio waves for trillions of years.Unless we invent a new element we actually are discovering God's creation with each invention. Computers are created out of silicon that was another discovery of how God created the elements in the universe.

  As far as Rutherford being mentally ill he did not exhibit signs of any serious mental illness such as psychosis, he may have suffered from depression caused by abuse of alcohol which can impair the judgment of those abusing it. Being a leader in a religion can be a lonely job and I'm sure with the imprisonment & harassment he received as most JW's receive for their religious doctrine was a burden for him.

  I'm not a JW, but I don't subscribe to the JW's being evil psychopath's out to send people to hell with a false doctrine camp. The doctrine that there is no trinity is most likely true according to the Bible and their view that nationalism and war is wrong for believers is also shared by the Quakers and Mennonite sects.

  WT induced neck pain and panic attacks

  for as long as i can remember i used to have neck pain at every meeting.

  i would get to the point where if i sat there 1 more minute i felt like my head was going to explode or i would just lose it and start screaming.. i had to get up and pace back and forth at the back of the hall.

  i saw a chiropractor and he made it worse.

  Social security fraud?

  my dub sister ( bipolar, ocd, parasite) is on social security disability.

  she has had 4 husbands.

  (i'll refer to them by number).

  Social Security will figure it all out. Just because a person has a mental illness doesn't make them mentally retarded. Most of the people I know on SS for mentally illness disability are on it becuase they have no way to pay for their prescription drugs. Unless you get sick at a good job with excellent benefits you are considered to be suffering from a prior illness and the new health insurance will not cover you when you obtain employment. Also drug testing in many jobs will be able to tell if you are on any psychiatric medicines and they can exclude you from many factory or retail jobs because the drugs cause dizziness and you can't be around machinery like a conveyor belt.
