my daughter phoned me today after her dc, she said it was good.
she also went on to tell me how she was unhappy with an elder on their case about improving their fs, she said he hinted about her pioneering something she said she doesnt want to do.
she and her new hubby hate fs.

the mrs. and i were invited to a "gathering" this weekend.
was just supposed to be some friends getting together for some food and fellowship.
when we arrived, there were a bunch of jw's in the back yard(50 to 100) and the music was pumping loud(not that i minded{smile}).
We even get flak in the Org.? That's because all those "seeking a release" come to California.

lets imagine that the watchtower was a brand new religion that just started.. and up to now, they didn't make any false prophesy yet, and they would be preaching that the end is soon and they would have the same life style and internal laws.. in other words, their past wouldn't be there to haunt them.. do you think that more people would join it?

as i was sitting in a restaurant with my friend briana(ex-jw), we started talking about how we see other ex-jw's inability to let go.
i know many have suffered and endured horrific events or trials as jw's, which i assume it would be hard to let go.
though, do we really have the ability to let go lead a normal life with not thinking twice or having fear in our actions?.
I think some of us secretly believe they may be right, so we can't let go.

This must have been "heated exchange about religion with spouse" weekend. Mine is waaaaaayyyyy to long to post here, but it had to do with going to the meeting on Sunday. Which we didn't, by the way.

i was so upset.
well my mom called and while i was upset i blurted out a comment on how easy it is for people in our family to cut people off.
I'm a parent and I do understand.
