Sometimes it's hard to channel anger and hate towards JW organization, not individuals who visit here. JW organization may be very abusive to some who leave it, so everyone should try to understand those who feel angry.
I try to do my best and channel criticism towards organization and false teachings.

Okay, New little twist again!
My dad wants to "show our family history" and some photos. Real point is try to get into my emotions and pull me back to "God's organization" :D
It won't work... I'm still waiting elders to come to talk with me and then they disfellowship me. -

I had similar experiences as you had, when I was still active JW. I really really hope you get power to flee from organization because your own happiness is more important than all your "friends" who are not even real friends, because they disappear if you are not JW.
At least, try to get some friends outside of organization, then you don't have to be "fake" all the time. -

Another JW Suicide
by orangefatcat inyes last thursday a young brother who was in the same hall as me but in the other cong.
and he was 29, a newborn baby and a 2or 3 year old and young wife committed suicide.
was killed here in our town of newmarket by a train.

Suicide attempts are not only for "stupid people". In fact, intelligent people are easier to get depression than "stupid" ones.
That means, intelligent people are in bigger risk to commit suicide because they have more knowledge and knowledge can mean more pain. ;) -

Okay, something new again!
Today I got call from my dad who is elder in congregation (I'm officially still a member even I don't live like that)
They had circuit overseer visiting and he had talked about me and some other "brothers" in our congregation. Dad said that he had heard some "terrible things" about me and my friend. I think they now have some clue about our web pages. They think that we are "minions of satan" :D *laugh*
First he asked me do I want to abandon my parents, I said that no I don't want to abandon them. I just want to live my life. He said that I have abandoned them, even I try to keep contact with them and then he said that I should think about "truth" again and if I don't come back they cannot be with me like now. I think he meant that IF I don't come back they will not talk to me anymore. Okay. Now I have abandoned them even I haven't :D They just want to try to make me feel guilty. Oh geez..
I hate JW's.
We also talked about goverment body. I asked some questions about is governing body really "guided by God" and then asked why they make wrong decisions even they are guided by God and so on. Then he got furious and hang up. Last words were that elders are coming to visit later. I have to set up my tape recorder and see what they are going to say. :) -

Could Someone Explain This
by Undecided ini have three cherry trees in my yard and the birds eat every cherry before it's fully ripe.
my brother-in-law has the same type of cherry trees in his yard and the birds don't bother his at all.
they are just about 250 feet from mine.

That is so true!
I had problems to feel ANYTHING when I was a JW. My feelings were always the same: gray, boring, depression. Now I can feel things. Joy, laugh, sad, and so on. They are not always good feelings, but still I'm glad that I feel SOMETHING. -

there was a falling away from the bible students after the disappointment of 1914 and the death of ctr in 1916.for the first approximately 10 years during his leadership of the bible students, rutherford would laud and praise ctr and even stated that ctr was leading the movement personally while being "beyond the vail"( from the heavens after his death).
so for a time the judge actually promoted remembering ctr to retain followers.

When I started to move out from organization, I started to grow hair. My hair was about to my EAR (upper side) and my parents were complaining that my hair is not good for Jehovah. Now my hair is longer and I have been growing beard. Now they complain about beard. Beard is not good in eyes of God.. What a load of CRAP.

I can't make them see it

she's on her way out of it and working things out.
it was a funny night with all of her miscellaneous new friends meeting for the first time, we've all heard about each other but didn't know what we could talk about with each other because of the web she's had to spin to get out with her sanity intact.

Sometimes it is really hard to put anger aside and blame WT organization for their rules than people who act like WT org says.
I had some friends which I have known all my life. I did not visit meetings for 2 weeks and nobody talked to me anymore. They blocked me from Instant Messengers and do not reply to calls, sms, emails and so on. I try not to blame them, I have to blame organization. I think they aren't doing that because they want to. They do it because they are told to do that.
