Here is an advise for youYour decision to lick my puppy's naughty bits has following positive aspects:
it may increase your resistance to sin
The negative sides however include:
it will be a stumbling block to others
I hope that my questions had helped you to make situation concerning your decision either or not to lick my puppy's naughty bits more clear. If you want to really make a wise decision - pray God for wisdom in a light of what Bible teaches us about our attitudes.
If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you. But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind; for the doubter, being double-minded and unstable in every way, must not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

Advice from a Christian robot.
by expatbrit inare you struggling with an important decision in your life and you don't know what the theological consequences are?
then come on over and bring your question to the robot-adviser.
it plugs your question into the same, but seemingly universal bible verses every time.

The Pixies!!!!
(sadly, they are no longer together)The Cure is also a favorite.
As for favorite songs I like old jazz numbers- a little Nina Simone...
Another song I really like but rarely ever hear is "Juliet" by Dire Straits. I was just thinking about that song the other day so it popped into my head when I read this topic.

Dick e Lentz stated:
As I said before, all murders are the result of rejection of God. That is because God cherishes all life and desires that we cherish life just as much as He does. Murder is an example of what happens when a person turns their back on God and the things that God values.
Are you saying that you believe in God but not the bible? When you make a statement like this, I am left with the impression that you either haven't read the bible or have dismissed it entirely. I'm sure I won't be the only person to point out that there's a whole lot of God-approved killing going on in the "good book".

Forgotten/Unforgotten Friends
by kheli insince i am recently out of the "truth", i still find that i have a couple of people that i really miss.
i have managed to get past the stage of obsessing about whether or not certain people still think/care about me.. but, every now and then i wonder about my (ex)best friend.
she was like a sister to me.

As an outsider, I found the "rules" very confusing when I was suddenly immersed in their world. After several months of being without my witness friend, I still miss him everyday. I know how badly things have turned out for him since we've split. Confession, disfellowshipping, eviction from his pioneer "friend's" apartment. I know he's hit new lows in his life and probably needs support now more than ever. I know there is little I can do though I desperately wish I could do something to help. I am always torn over how to best handle that situation. One of these days I hope to stop holding my breath and waiting. As much as I hate it, I know in my heart I'm still doing it. I think it's going to take a long time.
I don't base my friendships on arbitrary affiliations but...he does. So, I have to work on letting go so I can make room for people in my life who love me for who I am, not what group I'm in. Star on my belly or not, I'm a pretty damn good egg. (re: "The Sneetches" by Dr. Seuss) -

Passive agressive behavior- a common JW trait?
by detective ini'd like to ask a serious question about passive agressive behavior and witnesses.
i know a variety of non-witnesses who are passive aggressive in their behavior so this is obviously something of a attitude that anyone can have.
but i was curious to find out if people think this behavior is common among witnesses?
