  My Wife is demanding that I stop coming to this board.

  okay, i am in a bit of a dilemma.

  since i believe in honesty between marriage mates, i have been telling my wife about this board and my participation on it.

  i feel it is only right so that she won't feel like i have anything to hide.

  Gary, I hope things work out for you and your wife, they probably will. My parents went through this after 30 years of marriage. My dad an elder, he left it all behind...the religion.

  One bit of information my mom received was that frequenting "apostate" sites on the Internet is considered spiritual pornography. A double dirty word and connotation. Of course it is nothing of the sort but really fueled her fire.

  Eventually they worked out that each individual is allowed their beliefs, thoughts, etc. They also learned they could not discuss the religion without getting into horrible debates and hurt feelings. So it was rarely brought up.

  I haven't read all these pages, but this sentence in your original post really got to me:

  "She got livid and demanded that I stop or else she is going to cut off the Internet service to our home."

  Really? Now how would she accomplish that? Is it in her name? If it is, surely you could reset it up in your own name....she sounds like spoiled brat.

  Tell her to get a life. You can be married and not connected by an umbilical cord. Get some breathing space, or get a divorce.

  it has to do with those subconscious words that the watchtower throws into all their literature that influences the way jws read & agree with its contents..... examples:.

  Totally Busted and Scared!!!!!!

  my husband and i have been fading/disappearing for a few months now.

  we haven't been to meetings in quite some time, but most of our family members live out of the area, so they don't know yet.

  so with the spirit of joy that comes from newly exiting a doomsday cult, we have been celebrating all the holidays as well as my 5 year old's birthday (she turned 5 on december 2).

  If someone has some information, so what? Is this the kind of people you want to be involved with....that tattle like toddlers? Just waiting to make your life miserable?

  It seems insane, adults, just waiting to tattle. I'm sorry you are so stressed doing something wonderful.

  Happy guy, I hate to burst your bubble. No 19 to 23 year old girl will be hitting on a 52 year man unless they are looking for some kind of free ride, You admitted some could not speak the language......

  Any guy at that age buying into it is a letch.

  Happy Guy, Most men poses those qualities you mentioned and are not all about the descriptions above just like most women are not in the other post "wimmen 15"

  I think as we get older, we get better, etc.

  You despcribed a great man, and I think most of us wind up with some great partners after a few years married.

  V11, you had me cracking up, but wanted to make clear.....this is not the man I am married to! ....but I have dated every type I mentioned!

  I have raised my boys with very clear insturctions!.....

  They are both dating old fashioned European girls. They are also none of the above, and know how to behave.
