  After reading many topics.. I'm confused. Is this a JW forum or an ANTI-JW?

  i'm studying with a jehovah's witness and it makes quite a bit of sense but i've been reading many topics on here and it seems that i can find every christian denomination and every religion except jehovahs witnesses.

  do any jw's actually browse here?

  maybe i'm just getting unlucky and picking the wrong topics where everyones discussing about how they used to be jw's.

  Welcome to the forum.

  I was a dub for most of my young life. I was a bethelite, regular pioneer, ministerial servant and elder. For what it's worth, run as fast as you can before they destroy what is left of your life.

  I have lost my family, my children, my grandchildren, my chance at a proper education, a carreer, and for the most part, my sanity. The same can be said for many, if not most of us here.

  I hope that you find what you are looking for, and I sincerely hope that we can help you here.

  Share some of your most bizarre experiences..............

  when i did janitorial work, i cleaned a law office.

  one night, as the owners were leaving, they told me that one of the attorney's, by the name of bill, was leaving to work for a different firm.

  for the next couple of months, though, i kept seeing this attorney there, working.

  Last weekend, my wife, kids and I were at our rest house. As we were preparing to leave, I walked to where my motorcycle was parked, ready to warm it up, and right in front of all of us, it started on it's own. I was so freaked out, I ran over to see what could have caused it, and it stopped. Within the next 5 minutes, it started itself 3 more times. The REAL strange part of this, is that the keys were in my pocket the whole time.

  ok, i met my brother today.

  he drove me to my eye appt out of town.

  we rarely get time together alone (no spouses/kids etc).

  in my decades of the "truth" i have heard scriptures twisted in an olympic manner to apply to local needs.

  there were so many on various sexual activities that i tempted to throw money on the platform!.

  i even heard from a reliable brother of a local needs on farting.

  hi everyone, well im totally new at this but i thought i would give it a go anyway.so here is my story(short version).

  well i have been with my boyfriend for 2yrs now and the last 4months he has started to get back into witnessing.

  i have said from day one that i dont want to be one, but i did attend a meeting, memorial and some studys i did this for him to see what it was all about.

  I hate to say it, but you will never win over the watchtower. In my opinion, find someone that will devote himself to you, and not to a bunch of senile old men that change their minds as often as they change thier diapers.

  If you have a degree eg computer sciences and you start working at Bethel in the kitchen, what advantage will you have with a degree in computers, you won't use the knowledge. And if you need to stop working at Bethel after 15 years of service, than your degree is worth nothing, because the technology has evoluated.
  So basic point is you definitely don't need a degree, you're better without it.

  Someone needs a kick in the pills for a statement like that. Typical watchliar fear mongering.

  You will be suprised how easy it really is to meet people and make new friends. It's just that the watchliars have been telling you how cold and nasty it is on the "outside".

  It's not. It is suprisingly warm and friendly.
