  Children lost to Christian cult in Durban, South Africa

  a group of concerned parents in and around durban, south africa have set up a website http://ctmiconcernedparents.com with stories of their children who have become involved with a church identified as grace gospel church.

  the church is a branch of church team ministries international (ctmi), an international christian group with head offices in mauritius.

  young people from upmarket durban suburbs are being recruited into the group which many parents call a mind controlling christian cult.

  Will Jehovah's Witnesses be banned in Russia?

  russia seems to view them as an "extremist organization" that incites religious hatred and breaks up families.. we should be watching this story very closely.. jakes.

  Since leaving the witnesses....

  my life has been an absolute joy.

  i didn't realise how unhappy i was and how much tension, angst and animosity i actually carried around with me when in that faith - it was always us against them, with regards to everything.

  i wasn't allowed to just be myself, to be free to express myself - and by that i don't mean being sexually immoral, drinking and passing out...i just mean plain and simple me laughing, joking, sleeping in, playing sports, healty compition, buy a gift for my mother on mothers' day, celebrating a birthday of someone i love (all those beautiful little things that make a person unique you know).. my life now is free, happy, mostly full of joy and peace.

  Have you ever been on TELEVISION?

  i sometimes try to put a non-witness topic out there, guess i need a break.. i was on tv once.

  when i was a missionary i was filmed as i gave a talk at the assembly.

  30 seconds max.. back here in the states, i auditioned for a reality tv show once, and i made it to the first round, but the show was never picked up.. and you?.

  my name is shane draney i live in ogden utah, i am supposed to be going to the roy city congregation but i am not going to so there!

  but you never know since i was raised in it, its been hard to shed drinking the cool aid.. .

  i'm new to this forum and am also sacolton's wife.

  alot of you already know about me because he's talked about me on here before...even has posted pictures, at which he incurred my wrath upon my discovery.

  anyways...i'm about to submit my letter of disassociation to my local congregation and i thought i would share it.

  feeling guilty already about being on here, the familiar words are recalled in my mind "don't go on any jehovah's witness websites except 'watchtower.org'!

  so here i am, desperate for some help.

  i'm 21 and have been studying for 2 years, i was made an unbaptised publisher in february and it was all going great until i had a problem with getting a little tipsy, the elders had to come scrape me off the floor of my witness friends house and take me home.

  it shows people running away crying, and fire balls coming from heaven, with angels firing arrows at them.. i really don't think this kind of picture is neccesary.. i don't know how to paste a picture here, i'd appreciate if someone could do it for everyone to see what i am talking about.. .

  Letter to my in-laws regarding shunning over Easter period.

  over the easter period my family and i took a well deserved break.

  we travelled to our hometown to celebrate my parents' 40th wedding anniversary.

  however, the treatment we experienced from my in-laws was totally appalling.
