Pioneering is a waste of time. It just doesn't pay the bills. Especially when you consider some who do. Who the hell would want to fashion themselves after some of the totally dysfunctional misfits.

the edict from bethel was that these apartments were to be vacated a.s.a.p.
the reason: so retiring do's & co's with no place to go could occupy them.

The edict from Bethel was that these apartments were to be vacated A.S.A.P. The reason: So retiring DO's & CO's with no place to go could occupy them. All the Pioneers living in these apartments had to get out. The WTBS has no place to put all these brothers and didn't want to send them out on the street. The new system was supposed to be here by now!

The C.O. and elder came to my house last night!
by Sarah inplease tell me i made the right decision.
last night the co and another elder showed up at our house just 5 minutes after my husband got home from work (i think they were sitting on the side of the road just waiting for him to come home)*stalkers*, anyway to make along story short, the pressure was on.
i felt like they were there to get us to da ourselves.

how many times have you heard of elders/ms etc.
that were commiting all sorts of wrong doings while at the same time serving and passing judgement on others.. i remember when i was appointed ms there was a brother that was appointed at the same time, that accepted the assignment and served for almost a year before they found out he was commiting adultery all the while.. then you have the pedophiles that operate within the congregation some being elders etc.. i know for a fact that i could be a fornicator/drug user/closet queer/ are anything bad and keep it secret and i could move up the ranks as high as i pleased.. hell i could even be a undercover apostate/fornicator/all of the above and still get appointed if i kissed enough ass.. i could pioneer and lie about the hours,they would never figure it out.
