yes... Firefox does not preserve your formatting - you have to use for real HTML tags. Imagine my surprise when IE brought up that nice formatting box? But IE at work wont read aspx pages, so Firefox it is.

So, don't JWs mislead just as much as gas pedlars? (Altho I don't understand the conept - here in the states you have natural gas from the utility company if you need it - no sales involved). And it is harder to get out of JWs than out of some sales contract.... much more dangerous.

Does anyone need any JW books, brochures, etc.?
by exwitless inwe have a bunch of books that are wasting a lot of valuable bookshelf space: songbooks (the gold ones), nwts, the jw history book, insight on the scriptures, and most of the little dumb books.
we also have a few brochures, tracts, and some kingdom ministry brochures called "the new millennuim - what does the future hold".
we have the entire bible on cassette tape, the wt library 2000 on cd, and lots of other stuff.. someone was asking on another thread about the old school brochure.

I also struggled through the reinstate process - going to meetings despite the odds. It was for nothing - God does not require this, just a group of men. It is wonderful that you want to get your life together. Find a nice Christian church nearby and start reading your Bible - not the New Way to Twist it bible, but a real genuine Bible. It was a wonderful experience for me.

What told you that no holy spirit was moving the BOE?
by Crumpet ini've read on and off here of various things that told people that god's spirit was not directing the organisation.. personally for me on the last time i got dfed it was the fact that i got reinstated by a meeting of the boe at the exact same moment i was smoking my first cigarettes in 7 months.
i didnt question it exactly but it did seem odd.
i mean i had no idea that they were discussing my reinstatement at that moment that i succumbed and had decided in my favour.

Update: So I've been going to some meetings (and other things)

firstly, my mother passed away after complications from her surgery.
so i've lost my entire family since 1999. i'm an only child.

Your choice is your own, of course. But if you are looking for some direction in life, I would suggest Christianity. Pray about it, see where the Lord directs you. I had to pray long and hard about the Trinity because I (like you) had been so conditioned against it by JWs. But just be open to where God directs you.
