IP_SEC you don't need to be in your twenties to have little ones, and i realise what your'e worried about is finding the right person for you to share your life with and have a stable relationship to have children in. You won't find that out though until you are in a relationship.Believe me you've got plenty of time, you might find her tomorrow or maybe a few years from now, men don't need to worry about being too old like us women. No one knows whats just around the corner so don't give up looking!

No i pigging didn't! I never went out in service when the co was there or fawned over them, actually most of the time i didn't go near them, didn't see what the fuss was about tbh. We had one single CO once, wore designer suits and was very effiminate, my mil practically fawned over him made me feel sick. And no i was never a good dub wife who cooked them meals, why can't they get there own like everyone else! All meant to be equals in it after all!

Anyone d'ad d'fd and not being shunned?
by dobbie ini go on a site over here for parents, and in their faith and religion section there are regular posts on jws (where i do my bit of apostasysing lol).
anyway some of them who go on there are being shunned like moi, whereas there are a few whose parents regularly see them and their grandkids, one even says all the jws speak to her even though she was d'fd!
whilst i am pleased for them that they don't have to cope with their parents cutting them and their kiddies out, it makes me even more annoyed at the extremes you get.

<odd little religion,eh?'
Lol seeker4 you said it!I suppose it comes down to two things, how close their relationship was to you in the first place and just how much they are sucked into the religion.
IP_SEC all thoughts and viewpoints are helpful to me thanks, i don't actually want their friendship now, i have made new ones though i don't see them loads as i don't need loads of company but it surprises me that ones do still talk as i thought they had to shun or be kicked out. I'm glad though cos its a horrid thought, parents ignoring their own kids and vice versa. I just worry about hubby they already treat him as marked and i don't know what he'll be like if they do kick him out.

Gave away a little bonus in Field Service today!
by MinisterAmos innot sure if i posted a scan yet of my return address stickers with www.silentlambs and www.jehovahs-witness.com, but i handed out 20 mags to homeowners today and every one of those had not only the stickers, but also a 5x9 card with the words "it's a cult, stay away for your own good!
" printed on it in my own block writing.
kind of like a real magazine with the subscription cards inside only this one carris an important message.

IP_SEC so do your family apeak to you in front of other jehovahs witnesses or do they only do it when they are not around?Would they shun you if other jws were present? Just wondering as that is what my sis in law started out by doing, but tbh i find it too difficult, not knowing if shes going to speak to me or not (though i think shes stopped altogether now!)

Islamic Sharia law, Gods law or just barbaric law
by barry ini beleive with muslims voicing their opinions so openly its time for the average joe out there to be informed about sharia law.
the law they beleive has come from allah and is the most superiour law on the face of the earth today.this issue.
s. the link is http://www.americanthinker.com/2005/08/top_ten_reasons_why_sharia_is.html.

Well if you look at all the barbaric killings in the Bible, things haven't changed much have they. Obviously its disgusting, wasn't there a girl about 16 executed not so long ago?makes me think they actually act out what the jws are wanting to happen to us apostates/sinners etc.

I'm surprised they are allowed to as well, apparently they don't do it on the quiet. There are a couple of families in our congregation that still saw their children too, whereas the pressure from my hubs step dad to my sis in law etc to ignore me was great. (Maybe he just hates my guts lol!). Just wondering is anyone here actually d'fd or d'ad but they are still in regular touch and association (god i hate that word now!) with their jw families and friends?
