So sorry for the unnatural way you and your wife are being treated, i'm pregnant right now too but my mil refuses to come to the house and will not see the baby when it comes. She didn't even visit my toddler when he was ill in hospital a few months ago. This sort of thing must be so stressful for your wife, i'm glad she's having support re her medical condition. Is there a particular reason you want to go back?Just wondering if it was to unite with the family, but remember what your mil cruelly wrote, her love will always be stronger for her god whether you go back or not.. I left the jws because of my childrenas i feel they have a better chance without all that way of life, are you sure you want to bring one up in it?

I am Frustrated beyond belief~/Please read!
by restrangled injust had a conversation with my mom about 13 million spent on defending and losing court cases by the society.. i argued that they can't argue against the catholics when they themselves are guilty of the same.. she replied she didn't care.
(after sending them $100,000.00 dollars) she stated that the catholic church had spent billions defending them selves and if the jw's had only spent millions .
that the society had spent billions sending a message, and if i didn't like their message then leave her alone and the rest of the group.. i am burning with rage......i was accused of trying to destroy her beliefs, and if i was not in agreement to reject the entire religion........which of course i have already done many moons ago.. r..

Sorry for your frustration Restrangled. Well done though for perservering with your mum. Like everyone has said though they will only hear what they really want to and just now she is watchtower programmed. Maybe just give her little comments on such subjects and then move on to something else?Might make it more palatable for her to take in and make her think a bit on the quiet. Take care x

Since going online to CAIC (cult awareness and information centre) which really helped me at my lowest, and i recognised all the emotions etc were normal on leaving cults, and that some form of mind control were more subtle than others, i now recognise them as a cult. They don't have to get them all to kill themselves to make them a cult do they! Esp all the total control over my hubbys family and the shunning etc can i see it so clearly now. IT'S A CULT!!

it was suggested i retitle and repost it as my title did not really convey what the topic was about, so here it is again.. i was looking at who incited david to take the census, satan or jahooba (2 sam 24:1 vs 1 chron 21:1).
anyway, i was searching the wt 2006 cd and i came across this qfr that has nothing to do with what i was looking for, but i could not believe what i was reading.
