  i've been lurking here and reading for a couple of months now.

  i was also a jw for a few years but got myself dfed when i started asking difficult questions, wouldn't stop asking them, and kept pointing out how the wts didn't make any sense.

  i am an unrepentent rebellious one who was warned and publically reproved until finally i finally had it out with the elders and they showed me the door.

  OMG, did they ever. One went so far as to tell me how to dress ( had to alway's were stocking, skirt below my new, type of shirts and dress acceptable). Mind you I was maybe an early teen.

  we posted on earlier threads the letter we sent to the judicial committee as well as letters we sent to our jw friends.

  we sent those letters to 43 folks/couples on monday.

  we have begun receiving replies.

  i find this forum immensely therapeutic.

  posters here have helped me with personal issues as well as historical, religious, evolutionary, etc.

  i think this is the best psychiatric forum for xjws anywhere, kinda like my own personal shrink!.

  I love this place! I feel like no one could understand what is like to be so caught up in and believing the WTS is right, only to find out they are wrong except an exmember. I was confused and scared when I started to doubt and then just sad and devastated when I found out all my doubts were founded. But everyone here was there for me. Giving me great advice and just being loving.

  I try to talk to friends and my husband about being an xJW and they don't get how the WTS can destroy lives, or make you miserable. They just see them as other men and don't understand how we can get so caught up in it in the first place. Or let them control our lives to such an extent. But you all do, you get it and how hard it is to leave. And how confusing it all is and hurt or bitter you are when it's all said and done.

  Plus, you are are just plain fun!

  i am angry because my adult children who are active jw's think i should be dead or suffer for not being a witness and i supported them comfortably and they shunned me and show hate i am sad and probably won't do the chemo thing and just let nature take its course.

  any ideas?

  i am taking pain meds so this is probably messed up with my message help.

  I've been on the internet so long tonight he asked me what was up ( he never asks, he is still confused on why I don't want to be a JW anymore, he's a non-dub). So before he could start growling, I told him you were gay.lol He was like, oh okay, carry on and just lost interest. Your a much better conversationalist (is that a word. lol). lol
