uncensored discussions and information for anyone interested in the advocates for awareness of watchtower abuses or 'aawa' http://aawa.co/ (previously known as "the association of anti-watchtower activists http://jwactivists.org/) and how it's handled and responded to privacy issues and put people at risk:.
aawa is here!!
(the association of anti-watchtower activists)an invitation to a new effort- aawawhy when i logged onto aawa did it go to facebook ?in regards to aawaaawa - every generation needs a new revolution - thomas jeffersonnotice how the introduction of the aawa has brought out the loonies lately?will aawa become another cult?
Actually, out of 31 threads in the Active Topics section on 2 pages, only 2 have AAWA in the title.
Is there a problem with skipping over topics one isn't interested in reading or discussing?
Just wondering

Sex.
i think every jw should watch the movie tangled.
repunzel is literally in a watchtower.
everyone outside her watchtower is considered evil and dangerous..
You can find things that remind you, in just about any movie.
That is so true. I think we are more conscious of it being out of the borg. It takes great effort to break free of being controlled, and we are sensitive to it everywhere we see it.
I was sitting in my brother's (elder COBE) house at the time my mother was ready to die. We were watching the Wizard of Oz and even though I have seen it 100 times in my life, it felt like the first time I really got it. Nobody else in the room (all JW's) were experiencing what I was; not in the same place.
i received my copy of barbara andersons cd paedophilia in an american religion a month or two ago, and i have been reading through it since.. what follows, although i have called this a review, is in no sense a scholarly consideration of the legal merits of the cases described, a task for which i am wholly unqualified.
these are, rather, my subjective reflections on the material presented, the impressions i gathered while reading the legal filings, my untrained, common-man appraisal of the cases laid out in those documents.
ill also admit to being swayed by tone of voice adopted, and to using my own common-sense yardstick in determining the reasonableness of the statements made, the responses given and the arguments put forward.
I love the chocolate cake defense.
.
thought this video about stuff happening in march was very profound:.

No.
i'd like to offer a public apology to nathan natas for making a wrong decision when i deleted him.. i allowed a combination of previous issues we'd had and input from other forum members to bias my decision which lead me to what i now, in hindsight, believe to have been a mistake.. whether you want to come back and post here or not i wanted to at least say sorry and will reactivate your account..
Yeah!! Welcome back NN!
It's a very good day.
i am an inactive jw.
i havent been on this forum for a few months and have been lurking in others.
i have met a few people in real life and online, both on this forum and on others.
I'll bet there are hundreds that are still unaware of the AAWA timebomb ticking on their newsfeed/timelines . . . .
That was my point from the very beginning. The train wreck was completely avoidable if there was concern and action on AAWA's part.
