  this information is supposed to be in the upcoming march wt.

  (i don’t go on jw dot org).

  it would sound like they are hinting at a change in thinking.. in my opinion, any such change would be yet another slap in the face to faithful pimis along with those other recent changes.. there are so many heartfelt responses on that thread and a lot of justified anger.. don’t know what to say except that i’m so glad i never listened to the religion all those years ago.

  AGAIN, there is this never ending ridiculous theme of trying to convince JWs to quit their jobs! Only in this case there is the ‘hope’ planted in somebody’s mind that an anonymous benefactor might drop a pile of money on them!

  Hi LHG! CO's say all sorts of thing...they used to have quite opinionated "scared straight" tactics, not sure what the group is like today. The corporation would word it much differently..."is your employment interfering with your theocratic activities? What would Jehober want you to do" guilting people into sabotaging their own financial stability.

  I'm glad you and I never paid them any heed. I have worked longer than I thought I would...but it's only because I never took advantage of retirement planning and started late. But it's finally here for me.

  Do JWs see the org falling apart?

  i have been away from the jw cult for many years.

  i don't have any family i talk to that are in it.

  so i don't know if the jws as a whole are seeing the cult fall apart or if they or the majority of them are head in the sand la la la the end is neigh.

  The bar is so low, it’s much easier to be a JW today.

  The literature and few minutes I’ve seen of talks are intolerable to me, condescending etc. I think it goes in one ear and out the other for most with sunk cost fallacy.

  I went down the rabbit hole on FB a few weeks ago, everybody is the same..going to international RC, hosting Eastern Europeans, vacationing…”best convention ever” etc. I can’t help but think the ones my age must have cognitive dissonance having lived through the multiple end of times predictions. Now many with grandkids, all dressed up like little ministers, they won’t rock the boat.

  The corporation did a masterful job of putting lipstick on an old sow.

  Sadly, Javier is codependent with his need for "spiritual" (cough) goals. He wanted to pioneer and only work part time, he got it. There are plenty of companies that only want part time workers.

  And the writers at the corporation advising him on his life choices when they have every need cared for...grrrr.

  as his mental health deteriorated, i decided to have our local longtime physician talk alone with joe during an office visit last september.

  This opportunistic corporation will do anything for money. Whether it’s cheating a family out of an inheritance, (ya you Paul Gilles), or taking money/provisions from a government…it’s for the benefit of the corporation. Can you imagine if the corporation let the recipients of this gift know it was from anybody else but Jehovah how confusing it would be!

  They are a devious bunch always looking for a way to enrich themselves and evade responsibility for anything they do. I really hate this religion.

  Mark O'Donnell sued by Pennsylvanian congregations over "eavesdropping" virtual meeting between lawyers and elders

  in a civil complaint filed under seal and unsealed nearly two months ago, 11 congregations accuse the activist of violating federal, pennsylvania and maryland wiretap statutes.

  in the course of the ongoing statewide grand jury investigation, all jw congregations in pennsylvania were subpoenaed to produce records pertaining to child sexual abuse.

  so, meetings were arranged, county by county, between lawyers and elders on how to deal with the subpoenas.

  American Primeval and the Mormons

  just finished season 1 on netflix.. holy crap, i had no idea of the history of the mormons!.

  i always thought they were like the jws, or the quakers, but they were full on fascists committing massacres.. i'm sure they are hating having more people be aware of their past, but i gotta say, it is more event-filled than the jw history..

  these affected areas are some of the places i visited when i came on a tour of the us.

  malibu, santa barbera, la, santa monica, hollywood and so on..

  I was messaged by a childhood exJW friend. She asked if the JWs are thinking this is the Big A. I told her I have no idea. I can’t stand to go to the page Sea Breeze posted, but I can only imagine what they are saying. 🙄
