[sigh] It doesn't sound like he is in a good place to me. Divorce-Homosexuallity. I am by no means prejudice, however those two things are looked down apon by God and bring untold misery.

One only has to read the bible to come up with the answer to that question JH. Yes, Jesus did witness about Jehovah, actually the book of John says he is the one that has EXPLAINED him.
"No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is in the bosom [position] with the Father is the one that has explained him." John 1:18
Reading the bible we see that Jesus was an avid witness about Jehovah. His ministry testifies to that. So mush so that the book of Revelations refer Jesus as the faithful and true witness!
"And to the angel of the congregation in La·o·di·ce´a write: These are the things that the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God." Revelations 3:14

Thats is many peoples error in thinking. Christianity is ALL about control. We are to put on the mind of Christ and think the way he does. Jesus thinks totally different from us imperfect humans. Yes, the bible CONTROLS our minds and we are cautioned to steer away from independent thinking and again, to think like Jesus!

Well as an active JW, if someone asked me for identification, I would show them my NO BLOOD CARD It has no picture but they would know I was the real deal.Then I would proceed to use that as a platform for a good bible discussion on blood
i've often pondered the impossibility of arguing with an armageddon-believer.
it's like, the only way you can prove they are wrong is out-wait them.
and if they refuse to set a date, well, you'd be staring the poor prophet down when you are wobbly, grey, and snaggle-toothed.
So I figure, the Armageddon-believer steps every day closer to foolishness, without ever fully arriving.
I wholeheartedly disagree. Jesus couldn't say it enough, be ready, be on the watch, stay on the narrow and cramped road and so on. Jesus wants us to have that in mind. Why do you think the book of revelations was written? Jesus gave that info to John for a purpose. So that we are aware and can be ready. What you said is really backwards. It should read......The Armageddon disbelievers step every closer to follishness! Just remember this warning....

This Question has been debated for centuries. Let's see what Jesus himself has to say about it.
John 10:30 "Why do you charge me with blasphemy because I, consecrated and sent into the world by the Father, said, ‘I am God’s son’?" ( Jesus claimed to be the son of God, not God.)
John 20:30-31 " To be sure, Jesus performed many other signs also before the disciples, which are not written down in this scroll. But these have been written down that YOU may believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, and that, because of believing, YOU may have life by means of his name.( Notice that even his disciples knew Jesus to be Gods son.)
Matthew 16:16 "In answer Simon Peter said: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
Luke 9:20 "Then he said to them: "YOU, though, who do YOU say I am?" Peter said in reply: "The Christ of God."
John 6:69 "and we have believed and come to know that you are the Holy One of God."
1 John 4:15 "Whoever makes the confession that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, God remains in union with such one and he in union with God."
These are just a few of many dcriptures that help us to know who Jesus truely is.

Yes. One suggestion would be to follow the counsel in the bible about drunkeness. Another would be the same about smoking. Develope a desire to make Jehovah Happy and those things will disappear.
if a couple uses a sperm donor, wtbs says that is adultery even though no sex was involved betweew the donor and wife.
