The following is logical and indisputable proof that the religion of the WTS is false. Assume that this were a conversation between a JW and a non-believer (non believer shown in red). This example will show you how clear the logic is:
"Do you believe that blood transfusions are acceptable?" . The Witness will respond by saying that transfusions are contrary to their beliefs.
"Where is this teaching found in the Bible?". He or she will now proceed to read from Genesis 9:4 where it says that flesh was acceptable to eat, but not blood.
"Stupid question, but this is in the Old Testament, the Hebrew Scriptures right?". The JW will now confirm that it is in the Old Testament.
"Did God ever cancel the observance of this law? If so, please show me.". The JW will tell you that such law has always been in effect.
"If this law was still in force, then all the others should still be in place. After all, if any of the laws were abolished by God, it would have been recorded in the scriptures correct?". The JW will once again agree with you.
"Do Witnesses believe that they are a true religion?". The JW will probably smile at this question an say "yes" without hesitation.
"Is it because they do everything that is commanded in the Bible?". The JW will again confirm your statement in the affirmative.
"So if the JWs believe their religion is true, why is it that they only follow this commandment and none of the others? What about the commandment to observe the Sabbath? What about the commandment to obstain from pork and shellfish? If Jesus' sacrifice 'abolished' The Law, why is it that you still follow the commandment to stay away from blood?" You can be sure that at this point, the JW will have no response to this, there is no logical response to this question. There is no response that would help a JW prove that their religion is true if they can't prove this statement wrong.
"If Jesus came here to put an end to the law, why did he observe the Passover? Why did he tell his followers to observe the commandments and the direction of the rabbis at Matthew 23?". There will be no answer to this.
"One last question, why is it that the first congregation of followers of Jesus observed ALL the commandments in the Hebrew Scriptures and you don't?" At this point, any JW will try to close the conversation and refer you to one of their elders for a response. Why? Because most Christians (except for educated clergy and some JW elders) are unaware that the first congregation that existed after the death of Jesus was made up of mostly Jews. Yes, the first followers of Jesus were Jews. The gentiles who did believe in Jesus had to first learn to practice Judaism and observe its laws in order to join the congregation. James was a prime example of this and furthermore, he was known as the first leader of this congregation. After he was killed by other Jews who didn't believe Jesus was the messiah it was Paul who took over the church. It was Paul who removed the obligation of observance of the commandments. In essence, all modern-Christians are followers of Paul, not Jesus. Why? Jesus lived and died as a practicing Jew. Perhaps not the best example of a Jew, but a Jew regardless.
The JWs and the WTS believe that they have the 'true religion'. The fact is that they don't and they are just as far from 'the truth' as any other Christian religion would be. If anything, they have confused matters more by forcing it's members to follow ONE of God's direct commandments to mankind, yet ignoring the dozens of others that were given. Logically, this does not add up. A TRUE religion follows ALL OF GODS COMMANDMENT'S, not man's, not Paul's and certainly not those of a mysterious 'governing body'.
