My Dad Said He Loved Me
by cognac inhe's said it before, but, it was different this time.
his dad just died and i know there are parts about me that are the exact replica of him and grandpa.
him and gramp had a falling out cause of the jw religion.. anyways, i had the funny feeling that my dad has been looking at things differently lately, but, i know he won't say much cause he's in way too deep at this point.. he came up to me the other night, and said he really loved me.

Oh, my! How gorgeous she is, inside and out!
I am so very sorry for your loss, my Ziddy. You were so very lucky to have each other.
Rest in peace, joy, and light, Sheeba... and have fun chasin' the bunnies.
Love,

My Near Death Experience
by Dogpatch inhi y'all, just wanted to let you know i was out for a stroll on my bicycle for exercise last week and got hit by a car 100 yards from my house.
it was a hit and run.
i got up with only minor bruises but felt really dizzy and asked one of my roommates to take me to the hospital as i was dizzy and felt i was going to pass out on the spot in the middle of the street.

Wow! Good grief...
Strength, healing, and better days to you, Rand-Man! Unbelievable... so sorry you have had such a crappy time of late.
Hoping for much better (and so happy to hear you are on the mend, in more ways than one.)
Love,

The significance of Sparlock
by botchtowersociety inthe watchtower has depicted sparlock as a commercial plastic toy to be thrown into the garbage with impunity.. i submit to you all that he is something far greater.
sparlock represents all the hopes and dreams of jw children everywhere.
he is the magic of childhood.

JAN 2013 SHUNNING ARTICLE COULD MEAN JWS NOT AS OBEDIENT
by steve2 inin a separate thread, there's been intense discussion about how the gb is still seeking to tighten its grip on the rank and file.
the latest evidence is the january 2013 watchtower which rolls out hugely predictable statements about not doing anything to upset one's (jw) family by, for example, being in email contact with a disfellowshipped witness.
it's hard to stifle the yawns.

Steve, I had the same thought/theory.
I agree (that is, I certainly hope you're right.)
