  Do you wish SUFFERING on some human beings? Should you?

  with the recent illness of a gb member who has hurt many people, some have commented that they would like to have him suffer, various ways have been mentioned including having his mind fine, but his body suffering.. we all here have a hatred for child molesters, abusers, those who make others suffer.. and there are many examples in history as well.

  hitler, josef mengele, john wayne gacy, and many others.. is it right to want them to suffer for what they have done?

  should they be made to undergo the exact same suffering they inflicted on others?.

  Spiritual education of my son....

  7 years my son was spiritualy educated as a future jw... my wife still is a faithful witness, so i cannot tell him straight "wtbs is a bunch of liars and hypocrites ...." he would be confused and would go to mom to ask if its right.... so i started explaining him indirectly, leting him to got to the conclusion himself.

  i would also like to say to the person who posted a bunch of crap about "what if your wrong what if your working against jehovah" OMG i dont even want to know your screenname just go away. CHILDREN DO NOT SIN only you sick *&$%ers who are twisted enough and weak enough to beLIEve made up fairytales "SIN". You sin against your own human brothers and sisters.   yes, i understand parents are responsible for their children and i dont want anyone stepping in to take control of mine but when your views of life are clouded by religious crap......... the mother says her child is not in immediate danger from cancer?

  the parents are not serving their child as they should. they are wrong and will suffer more for it.

  i delayed my childrens immunizations and also had to sign waivers. i think that in most places it is this way. shots and all the info surrounding them is scary, but i felt it was neccesary in the long run (for travel) so we waited until they were 7 and 10.

  when i bring a subject up and then talk about old wt's or the blood fraction, i occasionally get that response.. yes, i know i can reply, "but i am telling you the truth.

  don't you want the truth?".

  but i am looking for something more subtle, something that can help a witness to get beyond their cognitive dissonance.. but without a standoff.

  when i move.. i always call the kindom hall and put my new address on their do not call list. i hate to see children soliciting religion - it really bums me out.

  Did there ever come a time where the meetings became unbearable?

  i try to attend about 3 sunday meetings per month just to keep my whole family from disowning me.

  every week the meetings become more difficult to attend.. the singing is awful,the prayers are all about the ''faithful and discreet slave''.the talks are boring and repetative.the watchtower study reminds of trained seals at the zoo where they do the same tricks over and over just so they can get their treat of fresh fish.

  the answers are short and read off the watchtower magazine word for word.

  Being born into it i do not remember a time that the meetings were enjoyable. early memories like oompa's - spankings for talking or not being able to sit still for the multiple hour meetings.... as a parent now - i see that it is so idiotic. to expect NORMAL children to be ABLE to sit and be quiet puh LEASE. then as an older child my brother was disfellowshipped..the whole congragation treated me like "poorly" i was 12 y/o. it didnt take long (15y/o) for me to get pulled in the back for my chance to tell the elders to f themselves, my life was none of their business. NEVER WENT BACK. and for the meetings,,, they were ALL unbearble, i have never been a person that was able to tolerate BS or fakey fake ppl or materialism (a lot of that there).
