  I'm meeting with the elders this Saturday

  that's right, guys and girls, i'm going to meet with at least two elders this saturday.. before you get ya britches in a big 'ol wad i can explain everything.. it's like this... well, a good friend asked me yesterday if i would be willing to meet with some jw's who have been having a 'bible study' with him for 5 or 6 weeks.

  it appears that these jw's are elders and they have informed him that he is not a christian.

  he asked them if they would be willing to discuss their beliefs with anyone and everyone so that he could be sure what they are telling him about not being a christian is true.

  Looking for scan from Proclaimers Book

  does anyone have a scan of the page in the proclaimers book that has the picture of russell's tombstone?.

  i'd like to see a scan of the whole page.

  (i already have the photos from randy watters of the memorial pyramid, the tombstone, etc., so i don't need those.

  every year for at least the last half-century, the society has published statistics on the activity of jws around the world.

  i am hoping someone here can provide me with that information, or can direct me as to where it can be found.

  specifically, i am looking for usa-specific data: usa population (the way watchtower counts it - sans alaska and hawaii), number of publishers in the usa and number baptized in the usa.

  Anyone who's not a JW will be killed by God. Anyone who is a JW is still not saved because they have to keep selling books from the Watchtower. They don't know if they're saved until Judgement day comes.

  just a few notes.

  the entire ass-embly was dealing with materialism or higher education; apparantly one leads to the other.

  why cant the wts realize that higher education is not just a means to get rich or ahead in this system, but a means to have a career outside of janitorial work?
