  pride and shame: seeing that your behavior arises on its own - out of your particular biologically given traits and your particular career through life, not from a non-material controlling self - might pry you loose from excessive pride and shame.

  your successes resulted from personal characteristics given to you in their entirety by nature and nurture, combined with circumstances in which you could express your talents.

  likewise, your failures arose not from some weakness of will that could have been otherwise, but out of conditions which can be understood as the natural unfolding of physical and psychological processes.

  I was with an elder (lol), and went through my rubbish presentation like every time.
  
  But he (the guy at the door) took them and just stared at me...I thought he was going to say something, and he thought I was going to say something :P .
  
  We stood there for a full 10 seconds and he said "Are you done?"
  
  I said "yep" and we got outta there, never went back (I always said I'd take it as a return visit, then never go back. That's how I fought back at the religion ;) ) .

  I think that this is one of the reasons Bush's and Cheney's approval ratings are so low...
  
  American people don't like how they're bending laws to thier breaking point.

  i think it would be safe to say that most people do not want to die when that time comes...yet, i wonder, how many people have really taken a hard cold look at the prospect of living forever...life without end.

  wouldn't there come some point in time when insanity would set in....boredom would drive you over the edge.

  i think you would go mad and want to kill yourself.... any thoughts?

  Given the right circumstances...I think I could go on forever.
  
  So long as there was an influx of new people and technology. I'd eventually forget what I did a million years ago, and doing it again would be just as fun :P .

  i'm pretty sure that if a lion eats grass, it will get sick.

  and if lions were designed to eat grass, why do they have teeth perfect for eating meat?

  Carnivores were "made to eat meat" after the flood. And dinosaurs were "killed during the flood". But I seem to remember that there are bones inside the stomachs of dinosaur predators, thus proving that they ate meat.
  
  
  It just seemed to stupid to me for them to believe something like that so adamantly...
