i am glad we went to the meeting this morning.

it was about how jehovah's witnesses have always taught the paradise earth for most of obedient mankind.

it mentioned how early christian leaders such as origen and augustine introduced neo-platonic thought into early christianity and allowed ideas about an immortal soul to crowd out what the bible says about the earth.

Note some of their (wbts) references go back over 1500 years.Look how the wbts twists Scriptures just less than 15 years ago they said that the Generation that saw 1914 would not pass away before the end would come.Less than 10 years they said the end would come some because the gb/fds is getting old and some would be on hand before the end.Just to name a few twisted ideas from the wbts.

I must add, I do not know by what name this religion is called because of the many names and corporation associated with it.

i grew up in a cong' with six members of the 'anointed' - only one remains, a lovely lady with genuine warmth and interest in people who is now in a nursing home.. .

what happens when the depth that these individuals bring is lost?

They have a way out.I believe it's in the wt2000 or 2001 the elders will be the ( forgot exact word) to lead the sheep on the Earth.Not sure how they explain that some of the anointed will be on the Earth when the end comes.

JW's Defend 607 BCE Teaching!

my father (who's an elder) just sent me this link...and i'd like to get yall opinions on it before i call him back:.

apostates and other opposers argue that jerusalem was not destroyed in 607 bce, but in 587 bce, and provide what they claim is archaeological evidence to support this.

if 607 bce is wrong, then the seven times prophecy ending in 1914 ce would be wrong also.. .

See the book "Battles of the Bible" -----Fall of Judah 588-586 BC. As for Bible interpetation and dates,the GB/WBTS are about as swift as the Sadducees when they Q'd J.C. about the resurrection in Luke ch.20.Just look at their history 'the generation that saw 1914 would not die before the end" but it doesn't stop there, the list goes on and on with their wrong dates.

USA Memorial attendance over 50k more from last year:DUH 4% increase in new pubs=over 40k.Canada:Had to raise roof and reinforce floor for new press----Good future planning or should I say lack of planning,You can't even plan for future expansion let allow teach the Bible.

The chinese D.C. so how many Chinese attendanted the Australian Chinese D.C.
