Once they knock another, oh, say, thirty minutes off, I think the talks will finally shine like they were meant to...
LOL!!!
what do you think about the reduced time of the public talks?.
i actually find it pleasant, it makes it a lot easier to tolerate some of the boring speakers.
but what about the service.
Once they knock another, oh, say, thirty minutes off, I think the talks will finally shine like they were meant to...

Trying to stay awake perhaps?

I can't tell you how many times I've been mistaken for a teacher ....
hey guys,.
my wedding is coming up and i am going to invite my mom and my dad and the rest of my siblings.
how should i react when my recently new regular pioneer mother starts pitching a fit????
In my case, my mom almost didn't attend my wedding. She did want to, but was "threatened" by an elder (whom she had never even met) with the whole "taking away privileges" scenario. My dad was absolutely furious! In the end, her very own PO gave her the green light since I wasn't DF.
I made all the arrangements myself, and did all the planning. The only thing she had to do was show up and enjoy the day.
If I were you Zamora, I would still invite her. I would stress the fact that I'm doing so out of love, honor and respect for her as my mother. I would tell her that my preference is that she be there to celebrate this milestone with me, but should she choose not to attend, it will be a joyous day for me nonetheless.
it snow last night from about midnight on.i was at work driving my cab.i usually don't drive in snowy weather but i didn't know it was going to snow last night.i was driving about 40 miles an hour on a plowed but not salted innerstate driving a customer to the airport.i hit an icy patch on the road and spun clear accrost the innerstate doing a complete loop.i hit the wall on the back passenger side.i messed up the bumper and tail light.the passenger was fine and not hurt at all.i hurt my back on impact.i strained some back muscles.. the passenger took it very well concerding he had a flight to leave the country he had to get on.problem was the trunk/boot of the car was smashed in on one side and i couldn't open the trunk to get his luggage out.the dispatcher called the towing company to come out to pry open the trunk/boot but they said they would be an hour.he couldn't wait that long so i took him to the cab company garage.i had a pry bar in my car.i was unable to pry the trunk/boot open myself.another driver was called to come get the guy and he was able to get the trunk/boot open.so he finally got his luggage out so he could go to the airport.. i had to fill out paper work for 2 hours.. lucky for me no other cars were involved and my passenger wasn't hurt.my lease is being held till i go downtown and speak to the big boss.so i can't work for the rest of the weekend.. my landlady is not going to be happy at all.i'm trying to catch back up from being behind on my rent.i went and got another job to help the situation but things keep getting in the way..
Gosh Noni! So sorry to hear about your accident, but glad you're okay. I hope your landlord is an understanding person .... I definitely know how some of them can be! Sometimes whenever you think you can make ends meet, someone comes along and moves the ends!!! I do think you should see a doctor about your back.
something was wrapped around my neck at birth and it wasn't the umbilical cord.
it was a neck tie!.
because dressing up in a nice suit, good quality dress shirt (i own one), $50-$75 neck tie (my wife has purchased a couple for me that were in this price range.
I always loved dressing up. I don't go to meetings anymore and I threw out all those clothes, but I do dress up for work ... hose and all.
my cat monty is a scavenger.
every night he brings an odd assortment of items to bed - this picture shows a little sock, two little mittens, a catnip sack, and two cords.
it also shows little lavender sneaking up on him to steal the black cord, which she loves.
I had once had a dog who apparently loved to take baths. Whenever she heard the hose being taken out, she'd suddenly appear out of nowhere .... waiting for her bath to begin. And she'd be looking at you like ... well, I'm here! What are you waiting on?
