Thanks for the information. I really admire you as where I am right now in my healing, the thought of their lies and the idea of sitting down and listening to more of them just makes me mad. I guess I should pity them. I probably will pity them. But, right now, I'm still stuck at anger and I'm d*mn sure not going to force my healing process after I've put it on hold for four years.

Is the Issue Of "Sovereignty" Stupid?

this is a little like walking into a huge vegas casino and telling them you can beat them.. however, the problem is that you are challenging the author and sustainer of the physical universe, who maintains the laws.

The issue of sovereignty is so beyond stupid that the word "asinine" is taking steroids to try to explain that moronic concept.

If the issue of sovereignty were legitimate it would mean that God has some pretty serious security issues. I mean really, is he that insecure? If he is, there's no hope for any of us, but I think it's just another piece of bullshit the wt came up with to enslave their people.

Reflecting on a year of freedom

this is my 5000th post, and on wednesday it will be a year to the date since i was announced as no longer being one of jehovahs witnesses.

i sent my da letter a few weeks prior to that, but i suppose it became official when it was announced.

so i thought i'd look back on the last 12 months, and see where i am now compared to then.

Anyway, good for you and good for yanking life by the shoulders and grabbing all ya can from it. In honor of your bid day, here's a poem for you. I wrote it a couple of years ago before I knew anything about rhyme and meter, but I think you might enjoy it.

How To Live Life

Life is to be lived with gusto.
Those who fear making mistakes,
make the biggest one of all.

Live life.
Love it.
Let others see that you love it.
Help them to love it too.

When you look back on life,
the moments that will stand out
the strongest
and have the most meaning
are those moments
where you embraced life
and yanked everything you could from it.

Our lives may be fragile,
