  Does Anyone Feel the Ministerial School Helped Them?

  as a born-in, i was eager to join the ministry school.

  my cousins were also born-in but lived in different states.

  there was keen competition to see who could do mature things, such as baptism (my mom said when i was 35) and ministry school.

  2014 Yearbook Stats - 7 Countries account for > 50% growth

  i thought i'd share the 2014 yearbook stats.

  i converted the file to excel format & sorted the increase in publisher's column from largest to smallest.

  as i suspected, the growth is limited to a very few # of "lands.

  sometimes when the org, gets into a 'new' area, there can be a burst of energy at the newness,,new hopes,,new friends, love bombing and much, much forgiveness. After awhile, tiredness sets in, disappointments, realities of disfellowshippings, over demands of the org life. as said, worse thing for a cult is: TIME. No doubt the WTS will burn out even faster those in foreign countries if third-world. Japan had an amazing growth years ago,,slowly and steadily decreasing.

  A cult needs 'new blood.' Or it gets meaner and more demanding like a beast.

  Two circuits in Ohio dissolved!

  announced that two ohio circuits are to be dissolved including 5 congregations.

  congregations in the dissolved circuits will be assigned to two existing circuits.

  the excuse the letter offered is that people are moving, or that people are retiring and leaving the area.

  is it true that the march ministry is hinting that this year will be the last memorial, someone just said that today in the service, just wanted to confirm.. .

  The WT writers are very manipulative.. they make it sound like their are saying something specific ,,they throw 4 Will this Memorial be our last? (1 Cor. 11: 26) (with intonation almost as a fact) We do not know. then after the time period, then they say, emphasize, they didn't say something. they artists of double-tongue.

  i just took the first page of the 2013 report and added two new columns to look at alternative ways of calculating the 'increase'.

  U.S.: 85 avg. pubs/cong. 183 attendance/Memorial/cong. So, 98 non-pubs attended Memorial. Everyone gets excited about Attendance number. Of these, the cong. has to get 3 attenders for year to become publishers (whether new or reactivated) to get at least an increase of 1% (the increase noted last two years each) (avg. cong. odds that one pub. will die and one will be DF'd)

  Pubs. avg. .6 Bible study, so avg. cong. has 52 Bible studies. Avg. cong. had 2.3 baptized.

  Avg. cong. has 11 reg. pios. and 5 aux. pios/mo. Avg. pub (aside from Pios) is 9.8 hr/mos. Population Ratio was same for 2013 as 2012: 1 pub to 262 U.S. pop.

  Reorganization Branches Belgium and The Netherlands

  the belgium branche of jw in kraainem will be closed.. the netherlands branche of jw in emmen will be reorganized into an ict devolpment office.. all the oldtimers jw staff in emmen is told they have to leave, they are dismissed.. of course it will be explained that the organization is on the move, a blessing from jehovah.. gorby.

  Neither country grew in JWs as noted on 2014 Service Report,,the Yearbok reportws 91 branches, but does this bring it down to 89? Wonder what country is next?

  THE GB have no concept of personal poverty (even near poverty) with family> nO concept of food bills, rent, utilities, gas, car repair, dental, medical bills etc. etc. etc. Not once in the HQ did they have to worry about such things. Even the very poor provide for them.

  They say something like "there are rich people that are not happy." My word,, people in poverty are definitely not happy,,depression extremely high among very poor people. The children mirror their parents anxieties extremely.
