  Moscow City Court JW Restriction Verdict Today - 16-Jan-2017

  on jw.org this is the first paragraph on the 12 january news on russia:.

  on january 16, 2017, jehovah’s witnesses in russia will again seek to counter the decade-long tightening of restrictions on their religious freedom.

  they will ask the moscow city court to rule that a warning against their national headquarters be rescinded as unlawful and unfounded.

  After the announcement of the decision the organization said on its appeal. "Мы будем оспаривать данное решение в порядке надзора в Верховном суде и не исключаем в дальнейшем обжалования в ЕСПЧ", - сказал пресс-секретарь организации Ярослав Сивульский. "We will challenge this decision in the exercise of supervisory powers of the Supreme Court and did not rule out further appeals to the ECHR", - said a spokesman for the organization Jaroslav Sivulskii.

  so the battle goes on for WT. However, ECHR does not have absolute power over Russia.

  Data for Partakers from 1935-2016. Latest number wasn´t this high since 1954!

  i gathered the data for the memorial partakers every year since 1935 (the first year they had data) until now.. the latest figures haven't been that high since 1954!.

  this stat looks very bad in watchtower land because the decreasing # of partakers was given, for decades, as proof that the end was near!.

  Could the "earthly hope" be losing its draw for some subconciously. There has been a 'wait' for their loved ones up to 80+ (since 1935?) years to see their loved ones resurrected 'soon' here on earth. In the meantime, the JWs believe their loved ones are non-existent anywhere but God's memory. Many religious groups of different kinds believe, or hope their loved ones are 'already' in a "better place." Maybe JWs can't compete with that.

  AND STILL NO RELEASE OF THE 2017 JW YEARBOOK

  here we are on the cusp of the new year, and the 2017 yearbook of jws has still not been released.

  jw.org continues to feature the 2016 yearbook in its list of main publications.

  in previous years, the upcoming yearbook's annual report on jws was released in november for the january 1st then the feb 1st watchtower, then earlier in december when it was only featured in the yearbook, then more recently with a couple of days of december 25th.

  Service Report still claiming Peak Pubs. (1.5% increase) to be close to world population (1.1% increase percentage). Baptisms claim +1.6% increase.

  They claim Pioneers decreased ( -.6%). They have claimed big increases in Pioneers some years past. Perhaps the WT deleting 'Special Pioneers' impacted this?

  in the letter of 21st may 2016 the gb explain that examining the scripture and yearbook will be available at beginning in october ... .

  then we are the 26 octobre 2016 ... i saw examining the scripture ... but not yet yearbook .... is the gb modifying the figure of annual report ?

  I think last year the 2016 Yearbook came out online maybe December 25, on a Friday. (Funny, I know, but I think that was the day).

  So maybe for 2017 Yearbook will come out online by this Friday or maybe Monday - Happy Halloween!!

  I don't like the person i am becoming...

  i have not been active here lately just lurking mostly but i have no one to talk to and i need some help i guess.i started working out and became friends with my personal trainer(we went to school together).i started going out with him(lying to my mother about what i was doing,another thing to add to the list of lies,it's becoming too easy!

  ) and i notice i'm slowly becoming the worldy people that the jw's described.i've become very selfish and rude and very apathetic towards everything and everyone.i always thought the values that jw's taught were really good.if i cut ties with the only friend i have now , i would probably slip into a deep depression and i that is something that i want to avoid at all costs.i start university in january and my plan was to stick it out in the organisation until i got my degree and became fully independant but as of late a elder told me i am being considered to become a m.s and told me what i need to work on and since then the other elders have been nagging me to work on the same things.i'm trying to rid my self of my 'priveleges' in the cong but nothings working...if anyone has experienced a similar situation what advice would you give?

  , oh and my mom was always super into the religion having been a pioneer and bethel worker for years but we went to the regional convention two weeks ago and now she is even more exasperating (for example a sister asked my why i was 19 years old and not a ms or serving at bethel yet, which is fine i've learnt how to deal with these questions but when i told my mother whom has always been content with me just being in the religion and never pushed me towards anything asked me if i was happy with what i was and if i would not be happier at bethel or regular pioneering.

  You are at a great age to rebuild/develop yourself!! You have to find your positive personal interests!! Definitely keep your plan for university! Do you have a sport interest or hobby? The WT life will only fill you with 'nonfulfillments,' always waiting and waiting for 'their' better life that never comes.

  Anionted mom says Jehovah may ask her to kill all her family!!

  yes my holy anionted mom who has cancer is concerned that the loving god jehovah may ask her in heaven to destroy here non believer family including her 5 year old grandchild during armagedon....how messed up are these crazy people!!?
