I think it's a great idea and I hope he's got the 'set' it will take to pull the trigger and do it....we've pussy-footed long enough with the religious zealot leaders over there. It's time to throw down the gauntlet...

The Republican Party Frustrates me!

being a former witness, when i first left the religion, i thought it would be a good idea to stick with a party that was fairly conservative in their stand.

although, in many ways i did not agree with them, i liked the republicans more then the democrats.

so i registered republican.

first, they continue to fund the war in iraq by passing supplementals.

now, it looks like they are going to pass the so-called "telco amnesty" bill and basically tell their trial lawyer constituency to 'stick it'..... you resident liberals and bush haters, what's going on here?

are nancy pelosi and harry reid asleep at the switch?

Yes I would have. Bush is a REPUBLICAN first, not a conservative. He's done some good things, like on judicial appointments and tax policy, but outside of that, history will show that his administration was anything but conservative.

Six...Nice thoughts, but one very obvious misstatement on your part--"the entire conservative side of the aisle"....Ummm, the last time I checked, there is no such thing. There is no conservative leadership whatsoever in congress or national elected politics, for that matter, right now. I, for one, think we need an Obama presidency to take this country drastically leftward for that to happen. And it will.
