These days nailing may be considered to be destruction of property, but I see no reason why you could not affix a message on the door using a non-damaging method. You could even put flyers under everyone’s windshield wipers during the meetings. Just keep in mind that their Aposto-Shields will instantly go up and disregard most anything you write.
Also, don't use the mailbox/slot - the JWs found out that one can go to jail for that! (It's a federal offence to use the mailbox for anything other than US Postal Mail.

Welcome. I myself am an atheist, so I really cannot give you any Christian direction. When people ask me about which church/religion to attend, I usually suggest Unitarian. They are spiritual and very open to all sorts of ideas. They are the antithesis of the JWs.
Regarding your possible children - make it clear to them that it is up to them to decide. Teach them basic morality, but don't push them toward or away from religion. That is what I plan on doing should I ever have a child.

There are plenty of people in the world with a persecution complex. As the saying goes, "misery loves company", so they all get together and are persecuted together.

I live in a world (actually country) where people are constantly trying to shove it down my throat - I'm entitled to a rebuttal. This also explains why I don’t put too much time into casting doubt on the existence of Sheba; I rarely hear peep about it.

am i using my right to free speech, or am i misleading other people?.
