i'm getting depressed lately realizing my life is fast comming to an end.
so many of my acquaintances in this life are dying and it won't be long before i will be gone.
there is nothing we can do to stop it.
I totally agree that life goes too fast.
My son just had his 3rd birthday this last week it only feels like yesterday he was born and my daughter just turned 9 where did that time go??????????
It must be hard being in your 70's and seeing ones dying around you.
Enjoy your life and spend quality time with your kids and grandkids (if this is possible)
Volunteer at a local service.
I know money can be tight to do the things you want to do and that gets frustrating.
Simple things can bring the most pleasure.

that im having another baby!!!!!.
just done the test and the line came up straight away....... we were planning on falling pregnant in about three months and happend to fall pregnant straight away...im still in shock but had to share it with you all my family.

i am an accountant and that is one profession that has a shortage over there.

There are few from sydney that post on here.
I was from 2 hours north from there.
It is a great place to live sydney. It is a bit expensive to live their especially rent and to by a house buut then it will depend on which part you wanted to live. Most i think live on the outskirts and commute to the city.
It would depend if you were wanting to start your own practice or join another firm.
But will have to get in put from other who do live there.

i just found out about an hour ago.
he wasn't even old enough to drink yet.. to make it even sh*ttier, he had called me a few weeks ago and asked if he could come out here with me but i couldn't do it at the time.
so of course the first thing that comes to mind is if i had done something different it wouldn't have happened.. he was going through the sh*t as i call it, when witnesses go off the deep end and get into everything in the world to stop hurting and they don't even know what is wrong.

i have eight siblings - three hang on to being jw but live their life, one is in the circuit work, one is unbaptised, and mentally challenged, two of us are faded for at at least 18 years and one - the youngest has been dfed twice.. he is 25 now, was dfed as a young teenager originally and went back only to get the boot again.
there was a very definite km a couple of years ago - he had been dfed for a couple of years by that point - and he was kicked out after my parents came home from that meeting.
the funny this is, they had been separated for a few years and had recently reconciled.

Its hard being the oldest and just wanting to help. When you have just about exhausted all other avenues.
Some people want to be helped and others you just cant do any more.

ok all... i was in a store looking for bedroom furniture and in walks this former elder with his new woman - they too are shopping for bedroom furniture.
he got df'd like 5 years ago so he has no idea i'm df'd.
recently, i've been thinking about how, when i got df'd, i would sit in the parking lot of the kh waiting for the meeting to start, and so would other df'd people.
I was thinking your case with this ex elder he might have been glad to be able to 'speak ' with a fellow df person but in realising that you have no intetion in going back he changed, maybe he thought you have definatly turned you back on the jw and deem you not worthy of talking to as you may turn him againt the jws as well.
Recently i had the courage to speak to a fellow df person near where i used to live i have wanted to speak to this person for a long time and made the excuse to get my sons hair cut (he is a barber) and casually said you dont remember me and he didn't. I told him who i was and we had an 2 hour chat it was great. I now wished i had done it sooner as we may have had a great friendship. I have moved well away from the area but he said to come and say hello when im next in town. I told him about jwd and a few other sites and he was going to havve a look as i had mentioned that it does help with the healing process.
anyway this is just one person but i keep to myself not knowing weather or not talk to them i guess it can't hurt by saying hi.

they pride themselves with staying away from worldly people, but they love to dance to music composed by worldly people.

For a good part of my early years and till i was about 12/13 the cong would go to a beach about 3/4hour away on chistmas day.

i forwarded the link to the uk jw donation site to my father a couple days ago as for me, it was christendom at its best - give me cash even when you don't have it.
he probably wouldn't be a jw if it wasn't for her and i am hesitant to say too much to him because of her.
she is a loyal (even though they had to get df'd to get married) .
I really feel you bud. I know how frustrating it is.
My Dad is an open-minded and passionate guy too. We can still laugh and drink wine or beer together.
I have it better than most here. It just hurts me to see such a good and intelligent guy investing so much in something that's not real.
He has said the same as your father. 'Show me something better.' It's the trained response.
All we can do is love them. We wont have them here forever.
